“In the past I have always ordered from here. The delivery is always good. I usually don't even look at other sites. This time though the price seemed to have increased quite a bit on my usual magazine.
When I was ready to buy again I thought I'd check other sites for prices and was surprised to see that others were quite a bit cheaper. I wrote to unique magazines to tell them I was disappointed but have never received a reply. This was a disappointment as well. I'll not be ordering again. I realise this will not make any difference to their sales but if everyone realises this it will.”
Hi Sorry to hear this. I can confirm prices have increased in accordance with the increase of many things now, including the Royal Mail which is the service we send our magazines with. We are a business that must consider this and in order to provide our customers with amazing service and still make profit, means price increases are a necessity yet something that is difficult to action. We must consider the magazine cover price, postage (1st class for single issues), packaging and weight to ensure the cost is accurate.
Upon checking other online newsagents, our prices match and in some cases, are much lower than our competitors depending on the magazine itself.
I have checked our online system for queries and received nothing from the email attached to your account. Please feel free to email me personally ellie.purvis@uniquemagazines.co.uk if you need anything, where you will get a same day response if you send queries before 4pm.

Hi, Sorry to hear this. Unfortunately, there is not much else we can do in this case. We send magazines a day earlier than stores get them, to ensure magazines get to customers in time for Saturdays listings. We also send them using 1st class postage, which is the fastest service we can offer for subscriptions. We can compensate for missing issues as long as they are reported by the Monday after the listings begin however, we have no record of you contacting over missing/late issues so we were unaware this was happening. Hi, Thanks for your feedback this is really useful! With single issues we are usually able to send in the same packaging quite easily, using 1st class postage and tracking. We have a system in which we can send sub magazines together, despite them all not coming in on the same day. If you were to renew your sub let me know and we can hold magazines back sending them all together on a Thursday.
Despite this, postage would still need to be paid due to the weight of the magazines together.

“I'm sorry to have to write this but on yr website u say if u make a purchase before a certain time. U will send the magazine out the same day for next day delivery but I never receive anything until three days later. Even though I receive a email on the same day I bought the magazine to say yr magazine has been dispatched. Only to ring u up the next day for you to tell me it hasn't been dispatched. Which isn't good at all. I know royal mail has been on strike and there will be delays. But I ordered when royal mail wasn't on strike and still I recieved it three days later. I would be willing to give u a extra pound for extra postage. If u could garantee that I would recieved my magazine or magazines the next day. Im sorry it's a negative review.

Hi, I am so sorry to hear this! I have checked your account and you placed the order for your single issues on the 14th and my dispatch history shows we sent them all out the same day! We sent them all 1st class and it would have been a tracked parcel.

Hi, So sorry to hear this! I can see we sent this magazine the same day you ordered, with 1st class service through the royal mail. These should always arrive the next day and if not, within a maximum of 3-5 working days. Unfortunately, we did everything we could from our end by sending the magazine 1st class. As soon as this is in the hands of the royal mail, it's hard for us to be in control of it and of course as your probably aware, strikes have resulted in delayed post and things being pushed back.
I can see my colleague refunded you for this when you contacted us on the 10th of November. I hope this was efficient service from us, getting the issue resolved as soon as you had let us know.
