“Universal Tyres at Plaistow is not local to me and is actually a convoluted journey from home. The fact that I routinely book my car in for MOTs and other necessary work with Chris speaks volumes for the trust and confidence I have in the team at this branch. They have always undertaken work to the highest standard and have never suggested or carried out work that was unnecessary. Their rates are competitive and they always go the extra mile to ensure that you have the right part for the job. Nothing is too much hassle. Having moved from the Midlands to the area I was very anxious to find a garage I could trust. Universal Tyres at Plaistow was recommended to me by a friend - the best sort of recommendation - and I now wouldn't take my car anywhere else.”

“This is not the first time, but it happened with me 3 times - I had no other options as I stay close by Universal tyres in Staines. They do their job somehow, but are very careless - they just break other parts while repairing and will not even let us know. Will never ever recommend anyone - also the prices are dam expensive. If you don't believe me, try it yourself.”

“Universal Tyres - Blackwall Lane, Greenwich : This is my local branch and just down the road from me. I went here on Monday 21st August as I had to keep pumping my tyres up, and driving my car was difficult. As I had only bought the car at the beginning of July I was very concerned. I saw several people at Universal Tyres, but mainly Peter, who checked my tyres, changed one for my spare (as one of them was illegal), pumped up the others and gave me a report. Peter spent a good hour/two dealing with my car/myself and explaining everything to me to take back to the garage I bought it from and sort out. I also spoke to Terry, and their advice was invaluable when I took the car back to the garage I bought it from on 25th August. They would not accept payment for this help/advice either. I have to say as a single woman I have never liked going to a garage on my own - but they restored my faith in garages and I cannot praise this branch of Universal Tyres enough!”
