“Visited the Lakeside branch of Universal as had an impromptu screw in my tyre. Joe the manager and Paul the fitter were extremely quick in resolving my puncture and good at banter too! Great service worth reviewing! Thanks Gents!”

“I visited Universal tyres in Dartford for a new tyre for my Piaggio MP3 scooter in September 2015. I was served by Rob who was extremely helpful and very friendly, his approach was very open and honest. Although there was a lot of work involved in changing my rear tyre the price I was charged was very reasonable. I will be returning to get my front tyres change when needed and will also be bringing my car to the guys. I would have no hesitation in recommending Universal Dartford to my friends. Thanks for the great service.”

“Took my car into the Dartford branch for brakes and discs which was fixed while I waited. I couldn't fault the service at all. The work was carried out swiftly and the staff were friendly and cheerful which was great so early in the morning. I would highly recommend the Dartford branch to others. I will 100% return to this branch again if needed.”

“Joe helped me out today with a new rear tyre for my YZF R125 £87 all in for a Michelin Pilot Street when I was being quoted £100+ elsewhere. He seemed like a great bloke and was very happy and friendly, which isn't a common trait these days. Would certainly go back and would definitely recommend”

“Had discs ,pads,mot,tyres and cv joint gater done at Thurrock,friendly prompt service,Unfortunately the fitter who topped my brake fluid spilt it in the engine bay and did not clean it off,end result was a stain patch on my drive that I now have to try and remove.It's a shame as service was good otherwise.”

“Got a Puncture in Dartford Tunnel. Drove to Thurrock Joe looked and confirmed my suspicions it was knackered. They reccommended tyres fitted them and also explained why I couldnt get wheel off at side of road, they temp fixed that problem and suggested new nuts, which I duly went around to Ford and bought went back to Joe who fitted the new ones. Excellent service and advice would definitely use again. Jade”

“Spent an hour on Friday at the Thurrock Branch having a pair of tyres fitted to my motorcycle. Andy carried out thie work, he showed a great deal of knowledge and was happy to chat to me while he was donig the work. I will return agian”

“Greenwich branch - Used them in past with no problem. I was very happy with service. But after my last visit will not use them anymore and definitely will not recommend to no one. Popped in to balance 4 wheels. Guy from behind counter came out to check tyres. First was he said that all 4 tyres are no good , inner tread gone on all tyres and I need new tyres. Then he asked if the car was lowered. When I said yes, he said that thats why all tyres need replacement and it all fault of poor lowering. Tried to explain that its nothing wrong with lowering springs and car just had 4 wheel alignment which came out perfect but all I heard was lots of rubbish. Went somewhere else ( another well known branch ) and job done. So if you believe in everything what so called fitters are saying and want to spend more money than you supposed to pop in to see those cowboys. Otherwise dont bother and find yourself some other decent place”

“The day before setting off for a 1500 mile Journey through France I noticed the front tyre was in pretty bad shape. I gave Joe at Thurrock branch a call and not only did they have the tyre I needed in stock, but the price he gave me was cheaper than all other ride in/out tyre fitters in the area. Within 2 hours of getting off the phone I had a new tyre installed ready for my journey tomorrow. Lifesavers!!! cheers Joe and the guys.”
