I ordered my sofa in September and have been without a sofa for over 4 months - all through the holidays. I would like to write a glowing review but I've yet to see it or even get a specific delivery date. At this point it's late January early February. I would say, if you are moving in and need a sofa in a reasonable amount of time, urban natural is not the company for you. Custom orders take longer, I get it, but it's typically three to four weeks. Not over four months.

Hi Melinda, Thank you for sharing your feedback here. This sofa was special ordered from Luonto's workshop which is located in Finland. The sofa has completed production and is currently en route to their warehouse where it will be picked up by the white glove delivery team to bring to your home. The lead time is listed on the products description, and in all our communication with you we have tried to convey that the sofa will be ready for delivery at the end of January/Early feb. A custom piece of furniture will take, on average, 10-12 weeks to produce. The only items we can deliver to your area within 3-4 weeks are pieces that are already made and in stock. If we missed the mark in communicating this to you, I apologize. Your sofa is still on track for the original estimated delivery time. The company promised delivery in 3 months but it took 4. Secondly, I kept asking about a delivery date and kept getting the run around. The delivery company was also unaware of when delivery would occur and no one seem to know anything.

The ship time was very very long. Longer then advertised. Coordinating with UN’s shipping carrier was tedious. I found the UN’s customer service rep that was assigned to my order to be very rude and negatively impacted my experience. I would not recommend them and I won’t be a returning customer. With that said, the coffee table I bought was as described and well made.

I had made many purchases before and loved the work, which was beautifully handcrafted with care. So, I ordered another Eastvold credenza. However, this latest credenza had uneven shelving, which was left that after white-glove delivery without a word. I had to call and get someone to remedy the situation. The response was to even out the shelving. But, now I have many more holes in the credenza that expected, the doors have a slight gap, and the book-matching is off. Plus my floor was left a mess after drilling new holes. No one called to see if I was satisfied. I am still disappointed and I look at the credenza every day with sadness. It was an expensive purchase, and I should have had a complete replacement offer or at least discount for a subpar piece of furniture. Very displeased.

I like the selection of products, but when I bought 2 pieces of Luonto furniture the store was advertising 10% off, however, Luonto was excluded . Naturally I asked if Luonto ever goes on sale so I could wait and take advantage of the savings. I was told Luonto never goes on sale by the sales woman and got the speech about inventory delays for months if I didn’t order soon. The next month Luonto was discounted 10% and there have been several Luonto sales last year. When I spoke to the manager about that, I was simply brushed off. I felt taken advantage of by the store. It was my first experience and left me disappointed. I just retired and moved across the country to be closer to family. The savings would have come in handy.

Hi Olia, It would certainly never be our intention to make you feel taken advantage of! We appreciate your business and I apologize if you felt that way. When you ordered in April of last year, it is certainly true that we were having inventory delays and promotions from our workshop partners were very sparse. If it is any consolation, you ordered just prior to a large price increase from Luonto, and we did offer you an end of the year gift card that you were able to take advantage of. Sofa was listed as shipping within 5 days but took 3 months and I had to reach out to find out.
