“I am very pleased with the jacket especially since Barbour has made it into a true motorcycle jacket with provision for armor and an added waterproof layer. I like the stiff belt with the reflective strip. It allows one to ride on warmer days with the jacket unzipped but kept from flapping in the breeze by the belt. I'll move the armor from one of my other motorcycle jackets when I use it for riding. Otherwise it is a great general purpose waterproof jacket with style. When wearing it as a cold weather jacket off the bike, I may employ a fleece zip up hoodie under it rather than the quilted liner so as to provide more neck and head protection.
I was also very pleased with how fast it arrived here in the USA. I ordered it on a Friday and received it the following Tuesday afternoon. If I make it back to London (I was there in July, 2014) I'll look you up.”
“I have recently returned to 'scootering' and needed an autumn/winter jacket. It was a toss-up between the jacket under review and a Revit Elysee jacket (also from UR). The matter was decided when the 'Steve' was reduced to ه£100! While I have yet to wear the 'Steve' on a ride, I was immediately impressed with the quality of the garment and fit (an XL for 42" chest, 5'10" height). It really is great value, very warm and stylish. At this price you can't go wrong! I also acquired the D30 elbow and shoulder protection (ه£20). They fit easily into the 'Steve' and are inconspicuous. The jacket is fairly heavy but needs to be if it is to give adequate 'scrape' protection in the event of a fall. Finally, this is my first purchase from UR and I am impressed with its advice before buying and time of delivery.”
“I have very thick feet both in width and thickness of the foot itself (sole to top of the foot). While on a visit to London from India, I visited Urban Rider. The staff were very helpful and despite being bombed by deliveries arriving, took the time to help me.
I found the Freemont to be the best fitting and most comfortable. Easy to get on, easy to wear. (I cannot shoes or boots for a long time as my feet heat up). These are natural leather. Look classy and yet are waterproof. I have worn these under my dress pants and they look good.
Recommend these as a great value for money.”

“Excellent gloves and prompt delivery. Urban rider was right about them running 2 sizes too small. I normally wear a Large but had to order an 2XL.
On a side note - Belstaff's sizing is all over the place depending on the product and country in which it's manufactured. That type of inconsistency is a massive disservice to the foundations of excellence the company has come to be known for almost a century. Get with it, Belstaff!”
