While my first purchase was being processed I reached out to Customer Service with questions and received thoughtful and expert answers that direrctly answered my questions within 24 hours. I was so please with my first purchase experience that I purchase a second piece. And, yes, Pooky Lighting is about the future of lighting and I'm happy to be a part of this future. “I absolutely love my cordless lamps and lamp shade from Pooky. Pooky Lighting has such beautiful pieces for my home, I decided on the Phileas cordless lamp because I liked that it worked with any lamp shade and I loved the shape. These are perfect in my house and I love the three light settings. I paired this with a Morris and Co shade and it is perfect for our bedside lights. Additionally, I ordered the shades in two sizes and had a very pleasant experience with customer service to return.”

“This is horrible marketing that baited me with images of beautiful lamps and shades that I can’t possibly order without splitting the order into two separate orders, from the UK side and the US side and then for the shipping company to misplace the US item on delivery and refusing to refund the order?!? RIDICULOUS”

Hello William, First, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. I spoke with our UK team about refunding your lampshade, and we are happy to proceed with the refund. There was some confusion with DHL and locating the order that we were trying to work out to be able to provide the best solution to you. Additionally, I reviewed the marketing emails you were receiving and discovered that you were subscribed to both the UK and US marketing lists. I can confirm that no UK products have been pushed or used in our US marketing newsletter. Our records show that you unsubscribed from the UK newsletter on July 18th, so you should no longer receive any future emails from that list. Once we receive the lamp back at our US warehouse, you will be refunded for that as well. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out. “The light is absolutely adorable. SO hard to find a small lamp -- but I am also going to be ordering a bigger one for another space. Quality is exceptional. I love everything about it, the way that it is rechargeable, the shape of the "bulb," the brass details (even around the bulb), the remote and the extra brass holder for it. Shipping was spectacularly fast (two days). So well boxed we had a hard time trying to figure out how to get into it (maybe provide instructions -- we had to rip the wonderful box). Love that you use paper instead of plastic wrapping materials. Well done. Shows what commerce should be like in these days. I'm not enclosing a photo because I'm still styling the area (waiting on a print to arrive). I told a friend about you the next day and she ordered a light from you.”
