We stayed at Grondre during the fine sunny weather of late May 2012, and aside from the weekends we virtually had the campsite to ourselves (the joys of being able to holiday during school term time!).  Although the site itself is in a rural inland setting, it is very handy for visiting all the beaches and attractions of Pembrokeshire - including Tenby, which is twenty minutes drive away and a truly fantastic place to wine, dine and enjoy the setting sun on a warm, summer evening.  The campsite staff are friendly and the maintenance teams keep the grounds and facilities well tended. There is a small club house and swimming pool, although we didn't use them.  The showers, toilets and wash facilities are well equipped, although as other reviewers have noted, there is no temperature control on the showers. Fortunately, they are set about right (although it would be nice to have the option of a cooler setting if the old sunburn is throbbing).  The main touring and tent field is located on a slope, although not so steep that levelling is a problem (and may actually be an advantage in wet weather). The caravans on the bottom of the slope appear to be semi-permanent and are used by the owners only at weekends.  The nearest supermarkets are in Narberth - five minutes away by car - with larger superstores further afield at Carmarthen and Haverfordwest. Alternatively, the camp reception stocks basic necessities if you don't fancy driving.  All told, a great place to stay, although I would imagine it can get quite busy with children and family during main holiday periods.

The accommodation was scrupulously clean and comfortable. The site was neat and tidy. The only negative to our stay was the play park on our site was broken and out of use with seemingly no date for fixing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return and recommend. (Mum, Dad, 4 children 7 yrs to 2 yrs)

We loved our time in the Bronze caravan. It had everything we needed and was a really good base for seeing the Pembrokeshire coastline. The only issue we had was that our caravan was right next to the clubhouse and one night the party continued til 1am! Not ideal with a little baby, but that was only one night. If we come again, I'd just request a caravan further from the clubhouse. Other than that it was a fab holiday!

the park was absolutely spotless including the accommodation ,the only thing that let it down was there was not a lot of entertainment during week days in the camp in off peak dates, others wise fantastic time staff were friendly and polite well done too you all.

The people at vale park are very friendly the kids love it in the pool and have made lots of friends. The food is nice and the entertainment is good. It's not far from folly farm and about 20 minutes drive to Tenby and Saundersfoot.

Very noisy at weekend nights otherwise this is a well kept quiet and seclude Holiday Park set in a very beautiful area and used mainly by the more mature person who is looking to avoid the usually noisy, brash typical caravan holiday parks. This was spoilt by the late night weekend very noisy partying and extremely loud music from the bar and reception area which went on until after midnight. This noise could be heard all over the immediate area and was very disturbing. When I spoke to reception about the nose she casually said that the caravan owners organise a weekend late night party for themselves. For this reason alone I would not revisit this lovely park. What a shame that a few can spoil something for so many.

We enjoyed our stay at Vale. The park was really nicely looked after And very clean.. Quiet when we were there but it was not in high season So can't say what it would be like then.

Lovely park, very relaxing and quiet. Well maintained site and extremely clean. Clubhouse and pool small but adequate. Only basic caravan available, good but would upgrade if possible.

We had a dog friendly static van, it was clean but rather old and shabby. We guessed as it was dog friendly we were in a van up a dead end with a high conifer hedge at the front and hedge at the back, touching the back of the van. We kept the bedroom curtains closed as all you could see was hedge and all we could see at the front was a sort of road where we parked then conifers. Disappointing. The site itself was nice and kept ok, the club house was nice and the food was good and the staff we met were friendly. We didn't use the pool. The weather was awful all week which wasn't the site's fault but it meant we spent more time drying out in the caravan and waiting to go out again than if the weather had been good. Having a dog with us meant we were limited to the places we could go in the area whilst it was raining. We felt that having our dog with us made us be treated a bit like second class citizens.

Lovely park, clean good sized caravan, friendly helpful staff. Good location, not far to drive to the amazingly beautiful beaches or into Tenby. One of the best family holidays we have had.

Had a lovely stay ,we had a gold star caravan as we took the dog with us but it was very clean and tidy ,springs in chairs had gone but that's the only complaint and the caravan was in the shade in the evening so a bit to cold to sit out side , the 2 teenagers enjoyed the pool room, only problem was we had to sit with them every night as went allowed by themselves . Reception staff were very friendly . We have also booked 2 holidays for this year , looking forward to our stay .thank you .

It was a very well run holiday park price was reasonable for the time of year, staff were very helpful and friendly. The only negative and I'm being picky is that it could have done with a shower block by the swimming pool
