“Van Arthur delivered 2 very pretty, tied bunches. One featuring gerbera & green foliage and the other, more expensive, filled with gorgeous yellows and blues - including freesias & roses. I order flowers for my house every week and can report that these VA flowers are living much longer than any Serenata or M&S bunches I've bought previously. 6 days on and still going strong - without any dead-heading required as yet.”

“I have ordered from Van Arthur on several occasions from when when first set up in North Harrow. They have always provided impeccable bouquets, which remain beautiful and fresh for longer than expected! Additionally, they are great at taking into account specific requests/details when placing gift orders which is appreciated.”

“Thank you for the excellent service to our new son-in-law, Geoff, there in the UK, who was recovering from surgery. Although we are in the US, we were able to see photos of the flowers and boxed chocolates, and do appreciate knowing we will be able to depend on your florist for special ways to support Geoff and our daughter, Dawn.”

“Unfortunately my 2 bouquets of thank you flowers failed to arrive on time. The details online state by 7pm, which was fine, although I was told they would be delivered by 5pm when I called to check. When they arrived finally at 7.15pm it was too late as the event had finished. I got a reply to my message, apologising and a refund was completely sorted. The flowers looked beautiful when they arrived but everyone had left”

Dear Hosai, there are a number of things to consider regarding your review. As you have decided to make your experience public, I have listed a few of them here to do the same. 1. You ordered a bridal bouquet with 4 days notice, and despite us being fully booked my colleague wanted to help you. We took on your order, and managed to source the flowers you required from various suppliers despite the time restraints. 2. We provided you, in a timely fashion, with everything you had ordered - and more. Your order was ready to collect in time on the day of collection. 3. We also provided silk base on the buttonholes at no extra charge. When you asked her to put the buttonholes in foam, she explained that it's not possible, as the stems are wrapped in silk. You understood this as "she refused to do anything you asked for", but this is not the case. I think we have done everything to make a happy customer out of you - but as we have failed, I can only apologise. We try to make each customer leave us happy regardless of their return, but I wish you better luck in finding and working with another florist in future.
