“I bought the 5x a few months ago. It is way too heavy, road bikes are tough to fit on it even when you follow the instructions, and kids bikes are a huge hassle. I should have known better since all the advertising and videos that you see about this bike rack just show dudes in their 20s lifting up feather light mountain bikes over and over again. If you are a dude in your 20s and own a lightweight mountain bike and you don’t ever plan on taking the rack off the back of your jeep then this is a great set up for you. If you are looking to comfortably fit a variety of bicycles on this rack and easily be able to take the rack off your car when needed then I would suggest looking elsewhere. Also, the return policy is ridiculous because you pay the shipping cost to return everything and they asked that everything be back in its original packaging as was shipped to you which is near impossible And really would deter anybody from actually attempting to return the product.”

“We were specifically wanting to purchase a 5-bike rack since our cars have five seatbelts and often five riders. That coupled with the easy load/unload that even our youngest child can do on their own made it the clear choice for our family and friends. The only con is that the rack is a significant presence with its size and weight. Easily manageable with two people when you need to transfer the rack so the pros outweigh the con. BONUS - our bikes are now neatly stored in our bike shed for the winter months using the included mounting bracket for the rack. We are really satisfied with our purchase and use of the 5 Bike VelociRAX X!”

“My mom bought this rack for our van. It's very secure, although sometimes the rubber straps are hard to put on. I have 515mm reach 1350+ mm wheelbase bike. Was really impressed that it had enough ground clearance on our low van. Overall a great rack.”

“I bought a 5 bike rack in the spring , replacing the north shores I had . the velociraxx is so easy to use, load and unload effectively. also when you put the rack all the way down you can use is as just a bike rack . the only downside I'd have to say is it's heavy but on a truck you can't tell the difference.”

“Awesome rack! Went with the 6 bike even though I only have 5 just to have a little wiggle room if need be. It is a tight fit but when you consider you can have up to 6 bikes in that small space it makes it worth it. Rack fit my LX570 without needing the hitch extension. I did squish one end of the rack during assembly due to overtightened bolts, my fault 100%. They give specific torque specs, use them! I was traveling when I got the rack and did not have a torque wrench. Would order one again without hesitation!”

“Okay so I’ve tried just about every type of rack out there and I keep upgrading with each new one I try. I grabbed this one and I don’t need to try anymore. The bikes, no matter what it is, go on quickly and securely. Not recommended, but if you have to put a bike on without the straps it’s still secure. We used it this year for cops for cancer and more than once bikes had to be quickly thrown on without straps and they didn’t move. Once again I can’t say enough about the rack except to grab one if you’re looking for a rack!”

“Awesome bike rack!! It is worth every penny. A quality bike rack that will most likely be the only one you will ever need. Got a 5 bike rack with some friends and it is way to use and loads onto the truck easy with 2 people. Great load features and garage storage that doubles as a bike rack there as well. Emailed with some questions and got prompt responses that were thorough. All around great company and product.”
