“Purchased the Velocirax 5X to replace a tailgate pad. Shortly after purchasing, I hit an enormous pot hole in my pickup on a mountain backroad loaded with 5 bikes, not a single bit of damage to any bike. I would purchase again and again. Snake River Mountain Bike Club Approved!!”

“A bit heavy and hydraulics are a bit of a fight when pushing back into place with a load of bikes. But it is well built and happy with it overall. Also like the versatility! It's a great wall mounted in the shed for winter bike storage!”

“Bought the 7x rack. It’s a solid rack. It’s pretty easy to load and unload. The bikes attach securely and I don’t really worry about hauling $25,000 worth of bikes on this thing. I didn’t get the cable lock option because I already own a 15’ cable lock. Using that to lock the bikes to the rack is pretty simple. I like that the only contact point between the bike and the rack is the tires. I don’t worry about frame damage or scratches. The tensioning bolt for the hitch receiver is kind of a pain. I wish they’d use a knob like most other racks I’ve owned. With the bolt I’ve got to bust out the tool box every time and get out the wrench. I don’t have the right size socket, so if I want a socket I’ll need to go buy one. It’s a minor inconvenience on an otherwise stellar rack. I’d still buy it again. If they want to stick with the tensioner bolt, it’d be nice if they threw in a socket to help a brother out. That’s the only downfall I see on an otherwise excellent bike rack.”

“This bike rack has been the best choice!!! Wish we had bought it earlier. Family of 6 can finally ride together without taking 2 cars. It’s so easy to load bikes on and off. My concern was it being a pain to open the back of my van. It’s not a problem at all! The lever with the hydraulics makes it so easy, you can drop the whole rack down with one hand. I expected it to be a total hassle. We live in Bellingham, WA and have recommended this rack to so many riders. Can’t say enough good things about it.”

“Like the rack a lot so far. Very easy to load and unload, bikes seem very secure as well. Only thing is for this price point I feel it should have come with the internal lock. No way I’m hauling any bike without one much less 5.”

“Hands down my favorite bike rack! Very well designed and constructed. Putting it together was very straight forward and easy. Snug fit in the hitch with zero movement or rattling. It takes less than 90 seconds to load & unload 7 bikes and the bikes feel very secure while in transport. Being able to fully access the rear of my van is a game changer!!”

“Very easy and quick install on my truck with the class 5 two inch receiver adaptor. Garage storage works great for the bikes too. More organized in the garage than before we had the rack. Love it!”

“This rack is a game changer. Well built and functional. Last couple weekends we’ve been using it with a tailgate pad and shutting 8 riders. Do yourself a favor and get one of these racks. Bonus! It can be used to store your bikes in the garage when not in use.”
