“The place that I booked for storage was closed, but the booking still went through. So I paid a cap and arranged my trip according to being able to leave my luggage but when I arrived the place was closed and I had to use another (more reliable) service to be able to store my luggage. I contacted the company regarding this issue 3 days ago but have still not heard back from them, except for this link to a review (ironically). I would not recommend this app to anyone I will for sure never use it again.”

“The location was a bit weird, luggage left at front of a juice bar, accessible to any customers. They said it was safe, but we took all valuables out. Picking up two officers were having a break right at our luggage, so I guess it was safe. Not sure will be using again, it should be possible to see the location before booking to verify its safety.”

“Upon arrival at the location, they did not query as to whether I'd made the Vertoe reservation or I was just a walk in. As a result I was double charged (vertoe charge/local) when I contended it, all they could offer was "well you should have told us you had charged it and shown us your receipt." Bad arrangement. 236 9th Street, Miami FL”

“I AM WRITING THIS REVIEW AS A WARNING TO CUSTOMERS AND TO INFORM VERBOE ABOUT A SHADY CONTRACTOR. The place (near the space needle) that kept our luggage was a sketchy smoke shop. The man behind the counter was impatient and overbearing. He took our bags and placed them close to him, but anyone in the shop could easily see them. The Verboe email I received pictured a tamper proof seal we were to place on each bag, but when I mentioned it, he told me we just needed to leave the bags because he would watch them. He demanded that I open my camera and give him my phone and then he took a picture of our bags, but only 3 of our 4 bags could be seen in the picture. We had already paid and were tired from travel, so we (unwisely) left the bags. After we left, we talked it over and came back for the belongings. We found a hotel that kindly kept our bags even though we were not staying there.”

“Said I could drop a bag in at 1:00 but when I got there made me wait and not show up for over and hour and 30 mins. I ended up leaving and lugging my suitcase with me all day.”

“Terrible service. Showed up at the place I booked, was told they're no longer a part of Vertoe, and couldn't store my luggage. I then asked Vertoe for a refund, with no response.”

“TL;DR - This is the way. Booked online in less than 2 mins. 20 minutes later my bag was stored safely at a Penguin Pickup location (Yonge and Wellington in Toronto). Fast, efficient, and the guy there was very friendly. He secured my bag in front of me and asked me to take a photo to ID it later. Popped back before it closed, bag returned and avoided a whole day of dragging luggage around! Recommended.”
