“Made an order but the website didn’t tell me that the product was out of stock until several days later. After contacting the company was made to feel like the error was mine and the staff was unapologetic.”

“I tried this as the description said it was suitable for sensitive skin, but after using it once my skin came up with extremely sore and blistery patches which lasted over a week. This is not for me I'm afraid.”

“I purchased hyaluronic acid capsules after seeing many reviews of how it has helped with joints and facial wrinkles. I'm on my second pack, and have been taking them for about six weeks. No change with my problem knees, and sadly, my wrinkles remain exactly as pronounced as ever. I've wasted a lot of money!”

I have checked the history of messages and seen that you and I did in fact speak earlier in the month and I shared this tracking with you, but only that one email. It notes in your review that you contacted us many times. I can confirm that we did not get these and we pride ourselves on replying to messages really very quickly and helping to resolve any issues that our customer may have. With regards to your shipment, I can see that the tracking has not moved in some weeks. This is most strange and I can only assume that it has been lost. This can of course happen from time to time. No often, but it can happen. -VH

“I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE MY ORDER. I'VE TRIED TO CONTACT VH BUT NO ONE HAS BOTHERED TO GET BACK TO ME. IT'S BEEN 3 WEEKS SO I ASSUME THERE'S A PROBLEM THEY DON'T WANT TO DEAL WITH. VH NEEDS TO STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS AND DELIVERY. I'VE BOUGHT FROM VH BEFORE WITH NO PROBLEMS - DON'T KNOW WHY THEY ARE HIDING AND NOT GETTING. BACK TO ME, BUT IT'S UNACCEPTABLE BECAUSE I HAVE NO RECOURSE.”

“I bought an expensive candle expecting it to be made with natural smalls. My fault, I did not check, just presumed. When I gave it to my daughter for Christmas she quickly pointed out that it had synthetic perfumes and told me she did not want it. I expected more from you - you are always talking about health etc. I will be returning it as soon as postal services are up and running again.”

We take our product sourcing seriously and I wanted to write personally to give some background to help explain the reason that this candle has a synthetic scent. In some cases, rather than sourcing the notes through forestry and animals, synthetic scents replicate natural accords, without harming the environment. It’s this man-made process in a controlled laboratory that can allow for the repopulation of forestry and protection of popular animals (like deer) where the extracts are used in popular fragrances. Besides protecting the environment and animal kingdom, synthetic notes are able to last longer thanks to fixatives. For instance, natural notes have an average shelf life of 1-2 years. However, synthetic perfumes can last up to five years. The fixatives give fragrances increased vitality. The scents don’t sour as quickly as natural perfumes, and the scents remain richer and denser in comparison. At the moment, these are benefits that natural perfumes can’t achieve.
