“We went on the Romantic Danube cruise last autumn. All collections and deliveries for ourselves went without any problems. My husband who has mobility problems was extremely well looked after, as we all were. The choice of food was excellent, as was the cooking and presentation. The offer of free drinks with lunch and dinner was most appreciated. The excusions we enjoyed. There was provison for people with mobility problems to walk at a slower pace. We enjoyed all the excursions especially the Vienna exursion and that evening's concert. We have absolutetly no complaints about our Viking cruise and are very much looking forward to this year's cruise on the Rhine. Jean & Kingsley Canham”

“I have enjoyed all the River cruises but please could you help single travellers as not every body can share a cabin and there are lots more trips I would like to take Saga offer some single cabins at no extra so why cant you”

“Excellent in every aspect on board. Dining and musical duo exceptional. Trips well planned and unusual in some respects such as the visit to a Russian home with sampling of local products. Would advise the very early tour of the hermitage as it was very congested later in the day”

“The whole trip was fantastic and better than we could have dreamed of. We were very impressed with all the staff on board. Everyone went out of their way to make sure it was an experience of a lifetime. We have already committed to our second cruise and are looking forward to it immensely. Thank you to everyone for making a dream come true.”

“Myanmar is a fascinating country, the people are very friendly and welcoming although in the villages some didn't even have electricity or the modern gadgets that we take for granted. The crew and Tour Managers were excellent at providing an unforgettable holiday full of happy memories. The sunsets were spectacular and one viewed across the longest teak bridge was enjoyed from a gondala with a glass of sparkling wine delivered by boat. That is the best way to describe how we were looked after throughout. You need to be able to walk from the ship up the riverbank (with helping hands from the crew) and around temples and pagodas but thoroughly recommended with the usual Viking 5 star service, entertainment and special touches.”

“Excellent trip, but do sign up for the booze package. Met up with some Kiwis who also knew how to enjoy themselves. Average count of eight empty wine bottles after very good dinners. Tried a number of local crus that were new to us and all were more than acceptable. Going again this year.”

“Exceptional quality at every level. We are very happy with all aspects of the cruise & have booked again with Viking. We have used other river cruise companies & Viking surpasses all of them. The only adverse criticism would be the oversell at the end of the cruise. We were not comfortable with that.”

“The accommodation was very good, the service was exceptionally good and the food was excellent. The excursions were very interesting and the guides were good. We enjoyed the trip to the wheelhouse and being able to see how the ship is sailed.”

“Excellent service on all three cruises that we have been on. The London booking office slipped up on our Russian cruise by failing to inform us that certain optional excursions needed to be booked in advance and so we therefore missed out items that we were particularly interested in All crew most helpful and quality of restaurant food andservice particularly excellent.”

“I have been on a few Viking cruises over the past 4 years and not one of them has failed to impress me in some way. I have yet to find a equal to them in professionalism, food, organisation or helpfulness. Last year, we had not started the cruise we had chosen along the Danube, before seeing that Viking were launching a new ocean cruise ship to Russia. Knowing their standards then, we promptly booked a place on this ship for 2016. And we can't wait to take this holiday. My recommendation - don't hesitate, book ASAP because holidays such as these get booked up very quickly. Experiences you should not miss - if you like being treated as someone special.”
