Avoid like the plague!!! I ordered something in March and when I chased the order up a month later I was told its still fine, just taking a little longer which I expected during these times. A few days later I recieved an email to say they had cancelled my order and they also said the money wouldn't of been taken out of my account but I had proof in a bank statement to show otherwise. Been trying to get a refund ever since. Ridiculous!!!!! Would never, ever order from viking direct again!!!! Seems I'm not the only one who's had the refund issue!!!

Like lots of other people on here, I had the money taken but the items were5in stock. Repeatedly promised a refund but it never arrived. In the end I went through the PayPal disputes process which in the end delivered my refund. Avoid

If I could give 0 starts I would. Shocking customer service, ordered stamps to send out my wedding invitations which as you can imagine, is super important to me. I was charged TWICE and the stamps never arrived. Now I have no stamps or money, unbelievable!!! The customer service advisor Amel/Amere actually laughed down the phone at me as well. Waste of time and money, don't bother

Ordered toilet rolls in March as their web site showed stock available. They took payment from my debit card. Chased the order but nothing arrived. Finally cancelled my order and requested a refund. So two months later still no refund and no replies from them. What a useless company deal with them at your peril! They should not be trading.

Chair should have been delivered the next day but took 10 days to arrive Complained and was offered a packet of Hatobo - what an insult Avoid unless necessary

Awful customer service and incompetent company I ordered items and paid at the time by debit card. One of my items did not arrive. It was out of stock A few weeks later I received a letter saying I owed them money. I queried this and received no reply Today I received another letter saying I still owe them. The invoice I received confirmed that payment had been made in advance and my bank statement shows the money has been paid so how can I owe them money? one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Dont use them unless you want stress in your life

Ordered a chair, 2 day delivery apparently. 2 weeks on I am still waiting. I have contacted them and they don't have it in stock and don't know when they will. Surely you can't sell something that you don't have and don't know when or if you will? They want to credit me, no thanks I'd like my money back.

Unbelievably terrible. Ordered 2 items for next day delivery, 2 weeks gone by now and no sign of the goods, the online chat have said the same thing twice now, it'll be in stock tomorrow and with you the day after. I thought I'd been giving Amazon too many orders so decided to go to Viking. Big mistake.

£86 pounds taken from my account 25th March for order not delivered. Numerous promises of repayment after each call to them, still not happened. Latest today this has now been done and should be back in my account by Friday. Bookies offering 100 to one. I'll wait and see. Never again Norman

Absolutely the worst company ever. They take the money, don't deliver the goods, leaving you chasing for weeks. They then make some lame excuse about the wrong address and it being sent back to the warehouse (despite the fact they have the correct address on the system) and then take ages to organise a refund. DO NOT USE!

I placed an order with them approx 8 weeks ago. It wasn't a huge order, came to £38. Small amount to them, not so for me when you are not working. They delivered about ten pounds worth of my order. The remaining £28 of it never got delivered. They promised to refund me for the missing items but haven't seen a penny of it. Have had to enter a dispute with them via PayPal, hassle I could do without. I would advise people to think twice before dealing with this company, they take your money, don't deliver and don't refund you. Beware.

I wish there should be an option for zero star, unfortunately there isn't . The Worlds most rubbish online retailer award should go to Viking Direct. I placed an order with them which says next day delivery. I didn't receive the order 3 days later, and rung them, I was told sorry it can't be delivered on next day delivery. I requested to cancel the order, told the order can't be cancelled as it has been sent to the supplier and might be in processing,while the actual fact it that my order was dispatched a month later, I refused the delivery and four weeks down the line, I have not received the refund. I try rung them and been told for refund, i need to email them, whilst i was told when i requested to cancel the order that it is an automatic process, if i refuse the delivery.

Sadly, exactly the same issues as many other customers. Ordered product, did not arrive, tracking in my account indicates 'delivered', but no tracking information available, of course! Cannot contact via call centre (voice message says closed), tried messaging through website & via email. Not even acknowledgement of messages. Appalling service, & given all the other reviews it seems like a pattern, almost bordering on fraud but certainly incompetence.

Terrible customer service - I know its the lockdown but I ordered something end of march it never came, no one really helped , loads of emails etc etc, and still waiting for refund. be careful... ive been passed around to all different people...

Placed an order 21st March for toilet rolls. They were on back order as out of stock. Within a couple of days they were in stock , my mum ordered the same item and received the next day. On 4th May I am still waiting, after numerous emails/ phone calls to Viking who just fobbed me off with lies and excuses. Today they have told me my order has been cancelled, even though they are still being advertised as in stock for next day delivery. Make your own mind up.

Placed an order on 19th of march. Money taken from account on the 20th. Nothing delivered. Over 18 emails back and forth, keep asking same questions, have I paid, what did I order. Customer services absolutely useless. I feel that they are messing me about on purpose and having a laugh at my expense. So much for being a 'valued customer'.

Do not buy from them! I placed an order for an item that was in stock according to the website but it wasn't (one week after it was still displayed like available). The price was 29.99 (before taxes) but the free delivery was from 30.00 (even if you pay 35 pounds you still have to pay for the delivery or add another item... (motherf****rs). It was supposed to arrive the day after, but it didn't (of course, because they didn't have it in stock) and didn't get me any updates either (I would still be waiting). The support chat doesn't work, they don't replay any email and the only available way to reach them is by phone (only if you want to make a purchase). I called them anyway, I managed to get my order cancelled through the phone, but now, one month later I am getting a 20 pounds charge in my bill because of those calls. Just avoid buying from them!! its a scam!!!!!
