Was meant to go away on 14th may 2020 up to press had no calls or emails on when money will be refunded despite the site saying we will contact you 3-5 days before travel. No chance I'm booking with villa plus again so quick to take money but nowere to be seen when it's time to give it back

I have been trying to pay a final balance for nearly 2 weeks now, cannot get anyone to answer the phone, no one replies to emails sent to the dedicated "Balances" email address, the online payment system is not working...! i now have only 4 days left to pay the balance before they say i have defaulted on the booking and try to keep my deposit.... this will be going straight to my solicitor.! Avoid Villaplus at all costs after this terrible display of service and customer consideration.

9 people booked for travel as a package on the 2nd April, one response from Facebook messenger then one from email ,now nothing despite saying on their updates customers are refunded after 14 days from date of travel. Not me ! So disgusted with some companies during this worldwide epidemic.

I booked a villa for this week and it was cancelled due to the virus. I must say villa plus have been absolutely amazing had my money back with no nonsense. They have been so efficient will definitely book with them again

Villa Plus will be going under from the Coronavirus. They tried to profit from people who couldn't travel, even advised to travel against FCO advice, refused to refund. Helpful hint guys, if you go on the gov.uk website you can print the FCO travel guidelines especially ones dated 14 March 2020 stating only essential travel, on these grounds the tour operator should give you full refund or change date, flights would change, villa refused, so even travel insurance wont pay out as its down to Villa Plus to refund. JUst take them to the small claims through money gov online, the document off the gov.uk website alone is enough to force them to refund you through the courts. ABSOLUTE DISGRACE. Just try and get your courts cases through before they go under, even if they survive the crisis with cash flow they've shafted all their customers and they've been hammered on social media forums over their treatment, think Ryan Air and Villa Plus are going to learn a valuable lesson in business, unfortunately it's going to come at a cost of their functioning ability. Pay the few extra £'s and go with a reputable company who care about their customers and aren't out to rip them off

Booked a villa with them in Cyprus in January to go in March. Before we could do that, Cyprus banned the entry of all foreigners. These people refused to refund which was according to their terms, fair enough. But they also refused to change our booking to a later date for a fee! Absolute scammers. They will do everything to keep your money and the fact that they have call center in the UK doesn't make a difference. STAY AWAY from this company!

Absolutely disgusted with Villa Plus Absolutely disgusted with Villa Plus, I booked a villa only, however due to the coronavirus there is no way to get there, Easyjet gave a full no quibble refund, was this the case with Villa Plus, absolutely not, apparently if I can get there the villa is still free so its not there problem !! WHAAT ! So although their website states ABTA and ATOL 100% your money is safe, apparently that means safe with them you wont get it back as the coronavirus means it is a 100% cancellation feel ! Oh and I tried to rebook to lessen the cancellation fee but apparently October is too far away and also constitutes a cancellation ! NEVER BOOK WITH THEM.

Booked a holiday online, at checkout was told the holiday price had increased by £30 After we had processed the payment, so had to speak on the phone. Rang up today to say the cost of the holiday had gone up by £360. There is nothing they can do about it.....absolute thieves! Will not be booking with them again.

Used to be really impressed with Villa Plus as used them for years. However this year more than ever not enough monitoring is done by the reps between villa lets resulting in them not spotting appliances not working. They should introduce feedback forms at villas for holidaymakers to fill in to avoid the same faults still being there a year later! Cut backs (though they’ll say it’s to not infringe on your privacy!) by not popping to villas soon after arriving like in the past unless you request a visit. Poor customer service.

Used Villa Plus Twice - Never Again I've bought 2 Villa Plus holidays in the last 2 years. One was good and one was disgraceful. Unfortunately, it's not until you have a bad experience that you realise how poor Villa Plus is. The in-resort teams aren't able to do any more than odd jobs, but they'll try and paper over the cracks enough to warrant taking your money. When you raise concerns or complaints, be it direct, on a review site or on social media, you receive a generic cut and paste reply. There really is no personal touch. It becomes apparent very quickly that this company is purely about taking money from you. I fully understand that is how a business works, but it's slightly unfair to advertise how much the company cares - it doesn't. Villa Plus is quick to brag in responses about the claimed 3.5% dissatisfaction rate and how great that is. This for me speaks volumes about the morals of the company. There are over 16k reviews on Trustpilot, that's over 500 customers who have had a bad experience - but stuff them, who cares? Collateral damage, focus on using the good reviews to rake in more business. I've found the attitude towards dealing with a complaint is more focussed on shutting the customer up and getting them out of the picture. In my opinion, the better way of dealing with complaints is to ask 'How do we change this customer's opinion from a negative to a positive?', then interact on a personal level. Nothing is more frustrating than seeing the generic cut and paste replies - 'very sorry you remain unhappy', 'rest assured a full investigation will be carried out', 'we will respond in due course'. I holiday in a villa most years and I will not use Villa Plus again. I'm aware that taking my custom elsewhere is merely a drop in the ocean for a company that annually turns over in excess of £50 million but I believe the morals of a smaller, more select company will far better suit my needs.

Cancelled 14 days before departure. Simply do not book with these people if you want a worry free experience. With just 14 days until we were due to fly and having booked our flights and also having received the accommodation documents from villa plus only today, i received a phone call to say they are cancelling booking due to a pool leak ! Their way of compensation a refund! What use is that with flights booked and two weeks to find alternative accommodation? We are now seriously out of pocket and holiday ruined, but Villa Plus attitude is that its not our problem. A pool leak? Why cant we have villa without pool for a reduced amount for a start ,or alternate accommodation ? Their customer care response simply cancel your holiday and leave you high and dry! That was sadly considered a fair resolution by the representative. Shocking customer care. DO NOT BOOK YOUR HOLIDAY WILL NOT BE SAFE.

This is the third villa holiday with Villa plus. We have been very pleased with the ease of booking and value for money when booking our holiday online. the customer service for any queries is quick, prompt and accurate. Cannot recommend them any higher.
