“I've been with vinomofo for several years and still am, although I spread myself around the many online purveyors more now, largely because I like the option to mix and match my 6s and 12s, which you do not allow. I'm also not a fan of masked "black market" deals because a couple have been disappointing. Mostly, I spend enough to meet the $300 trigger most outlets use for free freight and because I do that I feel it should always be waived, even for occasional small purchases. I'm not leaving mofo, just being a tad more picky about some things.”

“Once you get over the initial leap of faith of buying unnamed wines and realise the quality of wines from Vinomofo is generally excellent “the sky’s the limit”. I rarely buy my wine elsewhere these days. People often rave about the good bargain wines they have bought from Aldi, some wine club, etc etc. I just maintain a quiet smugness. I do however praise Vinomofo far and wide.”

“Since Ange left I am not getting any value assistance. Text messages and emails are useless to me, I can read but it doesn’t tell me anything I want to know about the wine - such as will I like it. My last dozen of Hollick Tannery Block was awful. The whites are good because I am only buying what I know we like. Reds are now from the Supermarket or Wine Selectors. Disappointed after so many good years. I haven’t answered the next questions because they don’t apply any more.”

“Pre-mofo, the eternal challenge was not paying full RRP for quality wine when you don't have industry contacts. Dodgy cleanskins, fell off the back of a truck specials....why should we be consigned to those forever? Since joining Vinomofo several years (and way too many bottles) ago, the standard of wine has gone up, and the price come down. Never sent one back, love the Black Market and get fantastic advice from Simone. Long live the 'fo.”

“Complete 5 star to start with. Dropped back to 4 star as not getting the same service from the people ringing up and recommending good wine. We now have to order ourselves online and feel the deals aren't as good and the quality of wine is not as good as when the person called me and recommended it. We order a lot of wine and would like to experience some of those mix cases where you get the random gem of a wine in amongst the mix case.”

“Excellent service. Great deals. Easy delivery to my PO Box. Free shipping if I order 3 cases. Never had a bad wine. Had a bottle broken in transit one time, the case was returned before delivery to me and I was refunded - no problems. What's not to like ?”

“Love it - especially the mixed cases, free delivery and quality wines. Been my saviour during lockdown. And Aussie Post is slow but only 4 days later than usual, which is amazing seeing as normal letters are taking an ago. Sure they were four long days when you're waiting for wine, but still better than the 2-4 week dan murphys deliveries. Poor dad still waiting for that one for fathers day!”

“Good quality wines at genuinely discounted prices compared to (real) RRP. I generally ignore the marketing hype in the promotional emails and focus on the basics of vintage, variety, region and (where known or researched and discovered) maker in order to make my purchase decisions. Over one-third of my cellared wine has been purchased from Vinomofo. That says volumes.”
