“The car companies in Jamaica that VIPCars works with are a scam and a complete waste of time. We agreed in writing that the car would be delivered to Moon Palace Hotel at 5:00 PM on December 20, 2025. I arrived early. No one showed up.
At 5:12 PM, the AutoUnion (VIPCars association in Jamaica) representative called, claiming he had a car ready to deliver, but then stopped responding. When I finally reached him, he said he was “too far away” and pushed delivery to 8:00 AM the next day. I reluctantly agreed. He never showed up the next morning either.
I waited, called, messaged, and even contacted VIPCars, and they couldn’t reach him either. I had to cancel the booking and multiple pre-scheduled appointments because of their incompetence.
I have WhatsApp call/text logs, the email confirmation proving hotel delivery at 5:00 PM, and a voicemail admitting he couldn’t deliver the car. Despite this, VIPCars chose to side with the dealer and refuse accountability. I have asked for a refund of my booking fee and have not received it from VIPCars.
This is unprofessional, dishonest, and unacceptable. Save yourself the stress and book elsewhere.”
