Virgin Experience Days was launched in March 2001 under the name of Virgin Experience. Originally offering experiences to corporate clients as a way of incentivising staff and customers, the company rapidly expanded to bring the Virgin values of quality, innovation, value for money and fun to the consumer experience gift market.
The summer of 2003 was a real milestone for Virgin Experience. In our continual quest to bring the best experiences and unrivalled service, we joined forces with Acorne Sports. Founded in 1988, Acorne Sports is the original experience company and it’s their stamp of approval that confirms our pedigree and ability to deliver unforgettable experiences. Acorne ’s unrivalled reputation, knowledge and relationship with all of the featured centres made them the perfect partners for Virgin Experience, a company dedicated to making sure customers have the very best time. “Despite the weather being typically British, armed with umbrellas, we both had a fantastic day at Kew Gardens, such a beautiful relaxing place. Was sad to find the Temperate Greenhouse and Pagoda under repair but despite this a full day was had with many things to look at when we plan to return next Spring when the aforementioned is reopened. Loved it.”

“It advertises a Day but it was in fact a couple of hours. We couldn't have the full body massage advertised and my friend and I had to have matching treatments. The Spa area is tiny consisting of 2xhot tub, sauna and steam with seating for 4 people (there were 6 in attendance). Changing rooms are 'compact' too. A nice couple of hours but certainly not a relaxing spa 'Day'. The treatments we did receive were ok, but not great. Would not recommend.”

“£349 + £70.00 upgrade for a better choice of cars, which I booked to do at Brands Hatch Race Circuit was cancelled few weeks before it took place, as the third party company went bankrupt. Awful customer service, couldn't get through and when I did, only wanted to offer a lesser value package at a different location. Unhelpful to deal with, made it seem to be my fault so has left a bitter taste. The ease of booking is the only plus but when it all went wrong a nightmare to rectify. Avoid, Avoid”

“Received a voucher for a flying lesson my birthday - unforgettable experience and loved every minute. Can't wait to get back up in the air! The voucher was easy to claim and the location and instructor were excellent.”

“This was sold to us as a relaxing spa day which it wasn't at all. The actual spa was only available at your allotted booked massage time. You could use the pool and sauna but had to walk through the actual gym with people working out and having classes to use them and then back through to go have your treatment! We then got told we could use the pool but there was a class on for another 30 minutes. That's not a relaxing spa day. We got told we could wait in the cafe area instead which we did. Safe to say we just left after our actual treatments which lasted 40 minutes. Didn't get a robe or slippers, got told we should of even brought our own padlock! Disappointed is an understatement considering this was for my mums birthday.”

“Booked a glamping hobbit hole at the Lake District. When we arrived, pleasantly surprised of how it met our expectations and beyond. Fantastic location. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely 'country' bar for evening entertainment.”
