Virgin Experience Days was launched in March 2001 under the name of Virgin Experience. Originally offering experiences to corporate clients as a way of incentivising staff and customers, the company rapidly expanded to bring the Virgin values of quality, innovation, value for money and fun to the consumer experience gift market.
The summer of 2003 was a real milestone for Virgin Experience. In our continual quest to bring the best experiences and unrivalled service, we joined forces with Acorne Sports. Founded in 1988, Acorne Sports is the original experience company and it’s their stamp of approval that confirms our pedigree and ability to deliver unforgettable experiences. Acorne ’s unrivalled reputation, knowledge and relationship with all of the featured centres made them the perfect partners for Virgin Experience, a company dedicated to making sure customers have the very best time. “Problem with Car Park for Steam train experience, a long way from Ticket Office, but this is not mentioned anywhere, so if you are of restricted mobility like me, Park in the Coop (right outside the Station) this is also cheaper than the normal car park.”

“Beer & Burger Masterclass Fulfilled by Brewhouse & Kitchen, this was a great night out with a selection of beers and some really tasty food. Would thouroughly recommend the experience if you're into beer! (or even if your not!!)”

“If you love cars and want to experience the thrill of driving them under instruction, you will love the American Muscle Car experience. I chose the Shelby Cobra and Dodge Charger (General Lee), both are vintage and lovely sounding however don't expect them to be well maintained with the latest tech. These are basic cars and old. The Dodge didn't even have working windscreen wipers and on one of the wettest day of the year, they were needed. The brakes (or lack of) made the experience and provided a real need for driving skills. If I went again, I would have the more modern cars such as the Hellcat :)”

“My Christmas Gift /Experience was a Golf Pro Hour. Mildly disinterested Golf pro talked to me for an Hour'ish and showed me a couple of things to work on. Since this was a 1-Hr single Booking, she obviously did not think it was worth bothering. Booking was a Joke too. Registered my Virgin Voucher and when I went o book, a message came-up stating that it had already been used, so I called the Telephone Number listed in case of Issues. Nothing to do with us, said the lady. We just sell the experience days - we don't organise anything - she did not get the irony of her statement. This took 20 mins Told to call someone else, who told me - "Oh this happens all the time". She then cant help either, but advises me " ….. to call the Gold Club (Horsham Golf, W.Sussex) Direct & take it from there. They might be able to help." She is serious and thinks she has helped. I call in at The Golf Club and they are fine -" this is par-for-the-Course with Virgin. Cant be bothered." Won't do that again. An experience to be avoided.”
