Virgin Experience Days was launched in March 2001 under the name of Virgin Experience. Originally offering experiences to corporate clients as a way of incentivising staff and customers, the company rapidly expanded to bring the Virgin values of quality, innovation, value for money and fun to the consumer experience gift market.
The summer of 2003 was a real milestone for Virgin Experience. In our continual quest to bring the best experiences and unrivalled service, we joined forces with Acorne Sports. Founded in 1988, Acorne Sports is the original experience company and it’s their stamp of approval that confirms our pedigree and ability to deliver unforgettable experiences. Acorne ’s unrivalled reputation, knowledge and relationship with all of the featured centres made them the perfect partners for Virgin Experience, a company dedicated to making sure customers have the very best time. “Wouldn’t recommend this dirty tired hotel to anyone. It is a bad hotel with a pool, nothing remotely like a spa. The changing rooms were grubby and smelly. There were not enough loungers by the pool, which wasn’t exactly a relaxing place to be in any event. The treatment was good although I upgraded it to be an hour, it was only 40 minutes so I shouldn’t have bothered. It was also in a big meeting room without the usual lovely treatment room vibe and smell. I had to walk through the whole hotel to get to the room in my robe with no shoes on. The room was cold and I had to ask for the air con to be turned off. I couldn’t escape the fact I was in a meeting room as the garish hotel carpet was all I could see through the hole in the bed. There were stains all over the walls and ceiling in our room which made me feel a bit ill. The food was nice and staff in the restaurant were really friendly so this review is not directed at them. Overall, this ‘pamper’ break was a real let down and I’m surprised Virgin associates itself with this hotel.”

“Having been bought several Virgin Experience days as gifts, I would highly recommend. Easy to activate and redeem. Also, you receive the full experience, you don't feel 'short changed' by the fact you have presented a voucher. Excellent experiences had!”
