Virgin Experience Days was launched in March 2001 under the name of Virgin Experience. Originally offering experiences to corporate clients as a way of incentivising staff and customers, the company rapidly expanded to bring the Virgin values of quality, innovation, value for money and fun to the consumer experience gift market.
The summer of 2003 was a real milestone for Virgin Experience. In our continual quest to bring the best experiences and unrivalled service, we joined forces with Acorne Sports. Founded in 1988, Acorne Sports is the original experience company and it’s their stamp of approval that confirms our pedigree and ability to deliver unforgettable experiences. Acorne ’s unrivalled reputation, knowledge and relationship with all of the featured centres made them the perfect partners for Virgin Experience, a company dedicated to making sure customers have the very best time. By teaming up, we are able to challenge the way every experience is provided and offer once-in-a-lifetime gifts backed up by friendly service staff with first-hand knowledge.

“Excellent Chilford Hall vineyard experience. Very knowledgeable guide, complimentary tea and coffee and an actual visit to see the grape vines. We sampled five English wines, which were of generous proportions followed by a two course lunch. The whole experience was informative and enjoyable.”

“Fabulous Afternoon Tea on a river boat in York. It was my 60th birthday present from the family. A gorgeous day (18th Sept) and our experience was lovely on board with a delightful Captain and friendly crew. The sandwiches and cakes were just perfect. A great atmosphere on board with a combination of relaxing music and commentary. Looking forward to taking our friends from Staffordshire when they visit us next summer.”

“Was given this voucher for Xmas last year, ok, so it took 9 months to use it but it was worth the wait! Would definitely recommend the Patisserie Valerie cream tea!”

“Have used virgin experience days several times, great for birthday gifts, date ideas, days out etc. There’s always something different and new to try and at great prices, especially when they offer a student discount. Will continue to use them to save money and so I can set the bar even higher each date night lol!”

“This was my first time using Virgin Experience Days. I used my voucher at Bella Italia Gateshead Metro Centre. The whole experience was most memorable and now considering buying a few vouchers for this years Christmas as gifts to family. Thank you Virgin :)”
