Virgin Experience Days was launched in March 2001 under the name of Virgin Experience. Originally offering experiences to corporate clients as a way of incentivising staff and customers, the company rapidly expanded to bring the Virgin values of quality, innovation, value for money and fun to the consumer experience gift market.
The summer of 2003 was a real milestone for Virgin Experience. In our continual quest to bring the best experiences and unrivalled service, we joined forces with Acorne Sports. Founded in 1988, Acorne Sports is the original experience company and it’s their stamp of approval that confirms our pedigree and ability to deliver unforgettable experiences. Acorne ’s unrivalled reputation, knowledge and relationship with all of the featured centres made them the perfect partners for Virgin Experience, a company dedicated to making sure customers have the very best time. By teaming up, we are able to challenge the way every experience is provided and offer once-in-a-lifetime gifts backed up by friendly service staff with first-hand knowledge.

“We enjoyed the day very much. The gentle chug of the train through the picturesque countryside was so relaxing. All the staff at both stations were very friendly and welcoming in a genuine way that it made you feel so comfortable.”

“Highly recommend using this company we had such a super day at our experience day to Manchester United including the cafe it was a gift for my sons 13th birthday and it was a day we both won’t forget. Definitely recommend it”

“Great selection of hotels to suit all budgets. Lovely way of giving gifts too to someone special. I received mine at Christmas and was so excited to pick a hotel somewhere really nice. Very easy website to follow. Highly recommend Virgin Experience Days.”

“Really lovely ..beautiful massage rooms the beauty therapists at the spa in Chiswick were really lovely The gym woz really nice too lots to do .. a really good pamper day towels provided which woz nice lovely large changing rooms”

“Very easy to use the website. Lots of choice of experiences, reasonably priced and would highly recommend. I booked Afternoon Tea on the Thames river cruise. Such a great day would definitely do again. Staff were great and food was lovely.”

“Not well advertised that the boat doesn't actually move! It's hard not to see this as a deliberate slight by virgin but maybe that's our fault for not reading the small print. The staff were lovely but the food and decor mediocre. A far cry from the photos displayed on the website. We just feel a bit had to be honest”
