Virgin Experience Days was launched in March 2001 under the name of Virgin Experience. Originally offering experiences to corporate clients as a way of incentivising staff and customers, the company rapidly expanded to bring the Virgin values of quality, innovation, value for money and fun to the consumer experience gift market.
The summer of 2003 was a real milestone for Virgin Experience. In our continual quest to bring the best experiences and unrivalled service, we joined forces with Acorne Sports. Founded in 1988, Acorne Sports is the original experience company and it’s their stamp of approval that confirms our pedigree and ability to deliver unforgettable experiences. Acorne ’s unrivalled reputation, knowledge and relationship with all of the featured centres made them the perfect partners for Virgin Experience, a company dedicated to making sure customers have the very best time. “This was a wonderful present. A perfect day made so by the staff and volunteers at the Ravenglass and Eskdale railway.”

“Booking process too long winded and contact number didn’t work. Voucher only valid for 6 month which I think should be 12 months to have the option of going in the better weather as it was a present for Christmas.”

Hi Chris, thank you for your recent review and we are very sorry to hear of your disappointment. All of our vouchers do come with different validity periods and we do advise of these prior to purchase and on the physical voucher itself so we can only sincerely apologise if this information was missed.

“We upgraded to goidwood room at langshott manor. Room great. As was breakfast which was inc. Lovely building/position. Evening meal expensive but nice.”

“Cocktail Masterclass - we had a fantastic time learning & creating cocktails. It was brilliant to get behind the bar & make the drinks. The staff were friendly & there was a nice atmosphere within the place.”

“I would recommend but make sure when buying you have plenty of locations to choose from other wise you may struggle to get booked in like myself from which I had to change my package and put more towards the cost of it. It was worth it with what I chose but maybe could get a little ripped off if not carful”

“Found it very difficult on the net to find a reputable spa Facilities to celebrate my wife’s birthday and came across virgin experience day. It was quick and easy and at a fair price the spa was absolutely fantastic. Will definitely use again and recommend to others”

“Interesting couple of hours that would serve quite well if you want an informal, casual introduction to tasting wines alongside some interesting cheeses, in this case all Italian. We purchased extra cheese as portions included are small. The presenter was good; she did have a strong accent that I found slightly challenging, more so because of the room set up which meant I had my back to her. We would have appreciated an info handout to take away with the names of the cheeses. Average venue.”

“Cheese & Wine Tasting. The venue alone should of raised alarm bells. Waited 30 minutes before anyone told us how the experience worked. Cheese - well that was a joke! A few tired tiny pieces of curled cheap supermarket cheese. Revolting. The wine wasnt much better. The whole thing is a con as clearly it’s marketing ploy to get you to buy their hideous and over-priced wine and sign up for emails. We left with 4 other tables and went to the pub. That was the best part.”

“Just brilliant. Was given the Formula Silverstone experience as a present which I took this weekend. Totally seamless booking process and wonderful experience. Desperately want to do it again. Not sure I can wait for another birthday. . . might just treat myself 😁”

“Thoroughly enjoyed this experience. The staff were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and funny. We had hands on experience, made our own chocolate, got drinks and free goodies. Was a brilliant 2 hours from start to finish.”

“Fantastic day out at Knockhill. The Instructor had me push the car for all it had as I was very confident going down the straight at around 160mph into bends at 70mph it felt amazing so much so i only done it yesterday and already looking to book again as it doesnt last long enough, wish I could get use of one of these cars for a full day at a track. It was amazing.”
