“Ich nutze die Volumio Software mit meinem Raspberry PI4 / Hifiberry Digi+ Pro fast nur für Spotify Connect. Das klappt sehr gut. bei Benutzung meiner Musiksammlung von SSD wünsche ich mir noch die Auswahl nach Titeln und dort das Abspielen nach Zufall. Zum Klang kann ich nichts sagen da dieser von meinem Dac und den Lautsprechern bestimmt wird.”

“In Verbindung mit meinem DAC habe ich nun einen wirklich guten Streamer.... Über den PC kann man den Volumio Primo sehr gut steuern, bei der Handy App gibt es noch Verbesserungsbedarf.... Der Klang ist jedoch das wichtigste.... und der ist 1A.”

“Fast Delivery. Quite easy setup in about 15 minutes using my Windows Laptop and WLAN. Attached it my Synology NAS containing ripped CD´s in flac, HiRes upto 24/192 and DSD upto 128. Playback upto 24/192 over WLAN without any problem. Playback over RCA to my stereo set (Accuphase, Magnepan) marvelous. 2 problems till now: Doesn´t download covers via Internet although activated. Couldn´t reactivate after having it put into sleep mode. Had to reactivate by taking the power cord out for half a second. In total good functionality and handling. Marvelous sound.”

“For the most part, its a lovely system. Nice interface and themes. Only issues I've had with it is the wifi dropping after a period of time and the system becomes unresponsive until a restart (RaspberryPi 4). Also had issues with playback whereas clicking on a one off song or even CDs doesn't product sound or not play at all. Go to a locally store song and playback is fine. I have no need for any of the paid services. With that said, I would have considered a life time membership if it wasn't for the cost.”

“Nice player, like the interface. Setup with Pi 4b. My music is on USB. It has been lost once. After several restarts it found it. I had seen that this is an kmown issue. I want to put the music on 32 gig sd card but my netwot does not shoe it.”

“I had to move on from Volumio as I could not get the application to consistently work with my system. I submitted several emails to the team and Michelangelo himself responded apologizing for the issues I was experiencing with the drop out of my hard drive / library and the player not able to play anything and promised me that a future version would address my concerns. I have since loaded MOode and all is working great. I will continue to stay connected to your team and product as well and I did donate $$ prior to experiencing these issues. It is too bad as the Volumio UI appears to be top notch and worth the price of admission to My Volumio”

“After having tested multiple configurations ( NAS + Dac only, Windows Mini pc + NAS + Dac, ...) I've just discovered Volumio (Rpi4 + NAS + Dac). This last configuration is definitively an excellent hi res player offering good sound quality and really flexible!”
