“I use an old raspberry pi 1 b+board. Volumio works perfectly. The music collection is located on a USB Flash drive. I'm happy. Thank you for the wonderful software product!”

“Learning the features of Volumio is interesting. There is a great forum to go back to hear other users experience. However the amount of information is huge and finding the best wording for searching topic is time consuming. My interest is purely based on building a nice webradio, but I am quite confused about learning plugins for GPIO button, GPIO radio button how they interact on selected device like phatbeat, speaker hat, pirateradio. Building userconfig.txt is for me a major headache.”

“Running on a raspberry pie with my own flac files on a usb drive as well as streaming with Spotify. Works great on most of my devices. Cannot get to work from my phone yet. Setup was fairly smooth too.”

“The app doesn't perform well at all on my Minidsp SHD. It takes ages to load although I leave the SHD on all the time. It often freezes of disconnects so I can't change the song (it is connect via Ethernet so unlikely to be wifi issues). And the volume control is awful, only going up in 10% increments using the rocker or 5% on my phone UI is impossible to control well. It's either too loud or too quiet. I love the concept and what they're trying to do but it needs to solve the basic usability tests so as not to frustrate users.”

“The app is not performing very well. Every 2 or 3 minutes the page shows the uploading process (I mean the circle with the dots), but it doesn't affect to play. Another problem of the app is the following: I am listening to a track, I push the pause button, after 5 minutes I push the play button, the track starts and immediatly skip to the next track. Not very happy”

“All other functions apart from bluetooth are excellent and sound quality superb. Bluetooth works but will only play for 2-3 minutes before pausing no matter the source- phone or laptop, browser or spotify. Have cancelled MyVolumio Virtuoso subscription because of this.”

“My Volumio PRIMO is connected via USB to an external DAC. The DAC has extremely high technical parameters. The USB bus is galvanically isolated. The DAC, in turn, is connected to the headphone amplifier. The DAC output is also galvanically isolated. The headphone amplifier has parameters adequate to the DAC. For listening, I use studio headphones that are able to bring out every nuance of the sound. My sound source is TIDAL (Volumio is connected to LAN via WiFi), mainly Master files. Volumio does not interfere with MQA files and delivers them to be decoded in the DAC. This set allows you to analyze every nuance of the recording. The Volumio has proved to be perfect and so far I have no negative comments. I highly recommend buying this streamer. If there are any problems with the sound, it will usually be a different component of the listening path. One more important note, I use the standard SMPS power supply provided by the manufacturer, as I found out that the voltage is stabilized inside the Volumio. In fact, the sound quality is confirmed by the use of very good stabilizers. I haven't checked the sound quality using the internal DAC yet. When I check, I will describe my impressions. Meanwhile, I cordially greet the Volumio constructors for their fantastic work and I recommend everyone to buy it and enjoy the very high quality sound. Greetings to everyone, Andy ;-)”

“I have a love hate relationship with volumio. It's great how you can add all the different sources, but I would really like to be able to only search in one at the time. If I want to find an album in Tidal, then I would like to search in Tidal and not show results from radio channels first. Same goes for Highresaudio. There is also a lot of bugs when adding or removing from favorites, next song and so on. Version 2.873 feels very much like a beta firmware. And that is certainly not the case. Not sure how happy I really am. There is a great potential and hope my issues will be solved soon.”

“Ottimo prodotto. Facilmente intuibile l'utilizzo e abbastanza elastico per utilizzi particolari e personalizzabili. Molto bene e diffuse le linee guida per l'installazione. Piacerebbe fosse possibile una integrazione con iTunes per poter condividere i contenuti per chi ha già una libreria personale. Comunque mi congratulo con voi per il vostro prodotto. Bravi.”

“J'ai apprécié la stabilité de VOLUMIO, logiciel facile à mettre en place et à gérer et surtout en français. Comme il est largement diffusé, ont trouve de nombreux tutos. Par contre les pochettes d'albums ne s'affichent pas dans ma bibliothèque ( disque dur connecté directement au Raspberry ) !!!! Dommage aussi qu'il faille payer un abonnement Volumio pour pouvoir intégrer et utiliser son abonnement Qobuz. Mais comme Volumio me permet d'utiliser Audirvana qui est installé sur mon IMac, via Airplay, je peux quand même utiliser Qobuz et j'utilise Volumio pour la radio. Bravo pour ce logiciel !”
