“The OX bar is well built and is a nice blend of features taken from other, more expensive bars. One feature that caught me by surprise was that the handles are not actually parallel. When the bar is on its jacks, the whole handle bracket is angled up slightly. I don’t think this will detract from its function at all, but something to be aware of. Vulcan claims this intentional, but it really feels like a factory welding mistake. The knurling on the handles is medium but gets a bit inconsistent and rough on the edges. When the bar arrived, the handles were not fully screwed together and needed tightening. While the overall build quality is pretty good, the bar I received only seem to have been powder coated on one side. I reached out to Vulcan and they said they will be sending a “touch up” kit. Whatever that means. Unless this kit includes a can of spray paint, I don’t see how I’ll be able to recreate factory powder coating on half of this huge bar. We shall see. Also, the end caps are way too small and rattle around whenever the bar moves which is loud and annoying. Probably going to have to use electrical tape to pad the edges. All in all, it’s a good bar and functions as intended. Putting it together wasn’t hard, and the rubber jack feet function well. Just be prepared for annoying cosmetic issues that you will likely need to repair yourself.”

“The company makes awesome products. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I decided to buy a barbell and plates in March 2020. I settled on Vulcan in April. Understandably, they were backordered and had logistical challenges, the pandemic has wreaked havoc on multitudes of companies, not just Vulcan. So I saved and waited. I bought at the beginning of December 1, 2020. There were still delays, but I know Vulcan has worked hard to keep up with orders and manage product manufacturing. I most of my stuff arrived before Christmas, except my 45 lb alpha bumper plates. Those arrived January 12, 2021. Their delivery was a bright spot for me amidst the dark fallout of a violent coup attempt in the US by traitorous sycophants. TL:DR; Vulcan came through during a rough time with solid product.”

“Great piece of equipment. However one bolt for the foot plate had flawed threads. We had to go hunt the bolt down from a local screw shop. Would be nice to get a shirt or hat or something from Vulcan.... overall very satisfied solid machine.”

“Very happy with the weights. I wish the webstore was easier to place backorders on though-- kind of a hassle finding where I can preorder stuff. I'd like to be able to just place an order and have it ship when it comes in, all from the product page.”

“Love almost everything about my rower, it’s sturdy and smooth, even better than the “benchmark” rower. My only complaints that keep it from being 5star are: handle is awkward vs C2 (I’ll adjust eventually), it was a little tricky to assemble the two halves (instructions were vague, and could have added to put significant downward pressure on the joint to get it to seat properly), and the worst part so far is the wiggle in the screen when giving a study pull; it’s fine when just pulling 150 or less watts but anything higher and she shimmies and it can be distracting and hard to see with older eyeballs. Otherwise I look forward to adjusting and using this significantly in the coming years!!”

Thank you for your review. Many of our customers who have used and owned other rowers prefer our handle over the others. If your screen vibrates a lot we would suggest that you make sure the screws are tightened sufficiently

“Solid, sturdy, and aesthetic looking dumbbell rack. Timely shipped even during the pandemic. Easy to assemble (tip- do not completely tighten shelf 1 and shelf 2 or else it will be difficult to slide in that last shelf. Once the last shelf is in place then go back and securely tighten all the nuts. The only flaw is that 2 of the 3 shelves were not completely painted/finished. Still a great product for the price.”

“Very sturdy and aesthetically pleasing. The packaging was poor and the shelves were bent and paint chipped when dropped off. The bent parts weren’t in a place where I couldn’t assemble it.”

“I am very impressed with the service and products, I received the bumper plates on time and in completeness. I also received a free barbell as part of a raffle for being a new customer, which was a welcomed addition to my home gym. “I ordered an BYO power rack and many of the options available recently. The product was delivered within the time that was stated, very nice considering the shipping demands due to COVID. Product is well made and will last for some time to come. Liked the price compared to Rogue as it allowed me to build out my rack and add additional options without spending too much.”

“Well build, very sturdy and packed well. This machine is massive! It takes up a lot of room if it's going in a garage. Putting it together was a bit difficult being that all that is provided is a one sheet exploded view of the equipment. Overall, high quality for the cost and pretty well designed. It could be a bit narrower and a bit shorter to take up less space. I'm 6'5" and I feel small on the machine. My brother is 6'7" and he feels small on the machine. Someone who's 7ft tall could use this machine without an issue! I think it would be hard for a shorter person to be comfortable on this machine but I don't know for sure.”
