“I needed 2.5 lb change plates. They weighed 5.1 lbs together which was good enough to me. Price plus shipping was a bit stiff, but overall I'm satisfied.”

“I purchased a flat bench, and overall it’s pretty good. However, the pad is already starting to sink in and it’s only been one week. The single post material is extremely thin for stability and my powerlifters prefer other flat benches. The customer service was pretty poor as well, emailed and didn’t hear back for three weeks (granted there’s a pandemic going on) about a simple question. The quality and service was about the same as Titan Fitness for reference.”

“It took longer than expected to receive the benches we ordered, but given the COVID circumstances, we understand delays. We ordered the Prime 3X3 Flat Competition Bench and the Prime Adjustable Bench. We are fairly happy with both. Made in America was very important to us and that is one of the main reasons we placed our order with Vulcan. When the benches arrived one has a very small hole in the cover, which I am afraid over time will just get larger and we will have to find a way to repair it. I have not contacted Vulcan yet to ask about repairs. The other bench was in perfect condition, however the pre-drilled holes did not all line up and we had to drill through the metal frame to make the hole a bit larger in order to screw the bench to the frame. Not a big deal, but we did not expect to have to do that. The only other thing I would mention is the material on the benches is pretty grippy and does not allow for smooth movement, but a towel can easily fix that. We do like both benches, they are easy to move around and are comfortable to use.”

“The bench Rolls smooth, is easy to assembly, the pad feels durable solid padding. We shall see how it holds up over time! Great addition to the Home Gym. I have zero concerns going heavy!”

“Ordered a Flat Base rack, but they were unable to fill the preorder. Supply issues are understandable in 2020, but waiting a few months is a bummer. They made it up to me though with a discount towards my next purchase.”

“Preordered several items. Had some problems with at least one of the orders and it was not always easy to get in touch with Vulcan. When I was able to speak to representatives, however, they were very helpful. Products seem to be good quality. Bench seems extremely solid.”

“Vulcan has a solid system for sending info on your order, and does great tracking after an order is placed. All in all, it seems like a great manufacturer that balances premium quality with accessible pricing. But because of the severe pandemic equipment shortages, they really need a more elegant system for reserving and purchasing pre-order items, and for sending out stock alerts. (Though the same can be said for Vulcan competitors.)”

“I emailed customer service about some blemishes on the steel insert of the plates I received. They took the time to explain their manufacturing process and the nature of the materials used, which I appreciated. I think they would do well to set expectations on certain aspects of their products, i.e. "not uniform in appearance," and posting more than one picture of a product, at multiple angles, etc.”
