The transition from 121 FCU to Vystar has been nothing but a nightmare! This is the worst experience I've ever had with banking. Each member has their own member number, even on a joint account. With 121, my husband was the primary on the account and all information was transferred to his member number and I had no access. I pay all the bills, do all the banking, as he does not have an email address, nor does he want one. Vystar did not even recognize me as being on the account. The IT Department has screwed this whole thing up. I went on their online banking app and it says I've accessed it too many times! I will be closing this account! I'm signing my name below so they will know who I am.

I've been with VyStar since they started at NAS Jax. I live at Jax Bch as do many other customers. VyStar went on an expansion program and at that point started going downhill. The employees that work there are good, but the Management is making bad decisions. Recently, they decided to close their Jax Bch branch and leave open a branch in Ponte Vedra where access to the building is very limited. They left open a branch in Neptune Bch which is also very inconvenient. Instead of branching out into Georgia, they should concentrate on local people first. Also, their interest rates on any type of Savings are very low in comparison to the rates I can get elsewhere. So, I am pulling out most of my funds and will be placing them where I can get much, much higher interest. I don't want to have to do this, but VyStar has gone downhill and does not look after their customers.

Suzan Lopton assisted us today in setting up our new online banking account needed as a result of our accounts being transferred from 121 Financial due to the merger. She reviewed our accounts and made adjustments to simplify our investments. The process was tedious and time consuming but she demonstrated her professional expertise to speed the process along. We would give her 10 stars but are limited to 5.

VyStar credit union is the worst bank I have ever had. They constantly have my transactions on pending for over a week I have never dealt with anything like this before. They never have a real person available to talk to you it’s always a robot. If I could give this review a negative 5 stars I would.

This is the only bank I’ve had an account with that regularly deactivates my cards for no reason at all! This is the third time I’ve had to wrestle with them for my own money. I’m settling any debts I have and leaving. If you want horrible customer service, crappy online banking procedures and a company that almost wants to STEAL your money go to these people. I’m sick of em!!

VyStar Credit Union is the worst bank to be a part of. I have an auto loan with them. They force users to add 5 dollars to their account and then take the 5 dollars due to inactivity. I had no interest in banking with them, and soon, I will be in the negative. I am working on moving my auto loan to another bank. They will steal from you with all their new rules. Beware.

I have been with Vystar many years but their quality has really went downhill. I had my wallet stolen and we can’t print you a card but will mail you one. 2 weeks later nothing, called oh they have notes but it didn’t get mailed. We will waive the fee and we will print you one. No you’re not waiving the fee, you just didn’t do your job. My account has been synced to a credit company for years. Came undone in September (this is now mid October) and they have notes but idea when it will be fixed and we are sort it cost you 800 and have a good day. That is horrible customer service. Need to make a change.

I am very dissatisfied with Vystar Credit Union. After doing business with them through a car loan for the past three years with my payments made every month, they refuse to make an exception for a “skip a loan” payment request that I literally have had to call them about 4 separate times after the hurricane Milton hit Florida which is where I live. Due to extenuating circumstances I wasn’t aware that my deductible on a new insurance policy for my car that I purchased was too high until it was too late for the new insurance company to switch the deductible in a reasonable amount of time for the skip my loan payment arrangement to be approved. The reason they would not change the deductible in a reasonable amount of time was because the hurricane was impending, and they were refusing to make any policy changes until the hurricane passed due to risk and there was also a waiting period after the hurricane past that had to pass before it would be updated. I explained the situation multiple times to Vystar agents and even had my request escalated to a supervisor by the 3rd time speaking with them. I submitted my request originally within the 10 day grace period that they give you to submit any requests for skip my loan payments, and was denied because the insurance deductible was too high. Subsequently I submitted two additional requests a total of three requests to try to get this get the loan payment arrangement approved. I explained multiple times after multiple phone calls that literally took almost an hour each time that the reason the deductible was not updated in time for it to reflect in their system was due to hurricane Milton. Even with that being stated and I even sent proof from the insurance company being sent to them, they refused. Literally no grace for a natural disaster that I had no control of that impacted my ability to immediately update insurance coverage. I did try to change my insurance to the correct deductible in as timely of a manner that I was aware, but was unable to do so because of the hurricane, and they literally won’t budge about making an exception. Not to mention I just had a baby and I’m tight on money b/c I am on leave, so that was the whole reason for the request. Their only alternatives are for me to make the payment asap and submit a new request for the following months or to do a deferment which would entail a hard credit check among other documentation that has to be submitted. Also they are terrible about calling back, I had to call to check the status of each request every couple of days. It is absolutely ridiculous and I would never want to do business with them again.

182 Blanding Boulevard Orange Park Fl 32073 has amazing customer service. I really want to point out Katie Riley the Assistant Branch Manager, she definitely went above and beyond to help me out. I needed a paper printed out stating some important information. Then I needed it faxed. She even called that afternoon to let me know the fax didnt go through and then kept trying until it went through. Amazing Amazing Amazing manager. Her kindness shows through her words and actions.

Was 121 customer that was converted to VyStar. Mobile Banking app was a real pain setting up. Clerk at Baymeadows branch was no help and seemed irritated that I asked for help. Accessing account through app is a real pain, can’t be done quickly. Didn’t like them 50+ years ago when I was stationed at NAS Jax. They were Jax Navy FCU then. Like them even less now. (I opposed the merger.) I’ll be closing accounts in December when I schedule 2025 retirement and SSI disbursements. I’m to old for their BS.

Go check your compass. Months of this nonsense. Recommendation "FIRE" the CEO and CIO. Can't access money without all these steps. On phone waiting 40 minutes to complain again. Moving accounts to Florida Credit Union on Roosevelt when opens. Software change continues to be a schitt show! Clear customers' money is not their concern. Horrible credit union!

Not even a member yet—being converted from 121 FCU and I’m already unhappy. Was told my 121 credit card had to be converted and it never arrived in the mail. I called after the arrival window for the card ended to get it resolved and they said they can’t help me until next week, then it will take 7-10 days to receive it (once they finally can order a new one). If I would like, they said that they can put a rush on it, at my expense…which makes no sense to me. I didn’t ask for the credit card to be converted, I didn’t lose it, I didn’t decide the original one should be shipped with no shipping confirmation, and now I am potentially at risk for not having a card to use if anything goes wrong with the conversion of my debit card or if I have fraud on my debit card i the interim and need to shut it off. On top of all that I was disconnected three different times when calling and spent over an hour on hold with people. Just wow.

I applied for a loan at Vystar which they denied even though I have been with them for fourty years and always paid my loans back without issue. But since I applied for a loan with them, I am inundated with calls and emails offering me loans. I feel that they sent my information forward and now I am getting annoyed daily by loan companies. This is not the bank I joined years ago. Very frustrated with them.

Crystal Davis and Tierney Austin gave me their business cards. I used those cards calling them and leaving several voicemails and emails. They never returned any of the messages. If they don't return any messages, then it was no use giving me their business cards. Those 2 women are 2 of the worst women in Vystars history. There are others but I won't name them. Crystal and Tierney made things worse deceiving me into thinking they were on my side when they really weren't. They're the phoniest reps at Vystar branch located on Crystal Springs Rd. Since they claim to be operating under my cease and desist request, then I should not be receiving emails about the payment either. Stop the emails as well.

I am not even a Vystar member yet I am a 121 Financial member some how my information from 121 must of leaked out I m getting text galore advising me $56.99 is being drafted out of my account. Now I just received one 10-1-24 Saying a transaction for $1092.00 will be drafted out of my account. Called Vystar on hold 28 minutes to speak to service rep got no where. I just I just Hope my information wasn’t sold to somebody other than VyStar. Wonder one making the transaction to VyStar they were not too bright either. They were very poor customer service very very poor administrative very poor management running their company. That is why they’re out of business. I would take your money and Run Don’t let Vystar take over your account The manager could not even tell me what time of day to call where it is not such a long hold time. My time is important too.
