“No problems with deliveries. If an item is not available it's substituted, you are always informed. Polite delivery drivers, really good service, highly recommended.”

“By mistake I had an old debit card with me and had no money with me( the joys of old age!) so I couldn't pay for the meal I'd ordered and which my two grandchildren had started eating. The manager who was called to deal with it couldn't have been more helpful and told me to enjoy the meal, pay the next time I was in and to have good day with my grandchildren. This happened today in the Waitrose branch in Gillingham. I paid the bill this afternoon. Full marks for excellent customer service.”

“Excellent customer experience. A large size, and heavily discounted, bag of ground coffee (Taylor’s) was out of stock and not due in again for three days. A member of floor staff picked x4 of the smaller size bags (up to the equivalent weight of the big bag!) and charged me the discounted big bag price! Really won my loyalty - they just fixed it without any fuss!”

“I purchased a yellow rose reduced because the partners fail to water the plants enough even though I constantly remind them in store it’s a waste of time. The plants are excellent and it’s wasting money having to reduce the price. Anyway my rose has been well looked after and the roses were lovely and the second bloom the flowers were peach, this year they are a beautiful yellow colour so thank you Waitrose for my bargain rose”

“Hi management team, on 31st January 2022, I went in Balham Waitrose branch to do my food shopping and apparently I happen to see a suspicious shoplifter having 2 expensive Acholol in his hands. As no staff noticed the situation, I immediately told one of the staff about the suspicious customer. The member of staff I approached his name was Gary. And then I left the situation to him to deal with the matter and I carried on doing my shopping. Roughly about 15 minutes time Another a member of staff approached me saying thanks for helping us out saying if it wasn’t for you the shoplifter would of got away £70 worth of acholol. That member of staff her name was Marilyin. Sorry if I spelt her name wrong. Anyway she asked me do I drink acholol or I don’t. And my answer was yes I do drink acholol. And she kindly offered me a free bottle of SAN LEO VINO SPUMANTE PROSCECCO, Prodotto in Italia. Marilyin told me this a free Prosecco bottle reward from us to say thank you for telling us about the suspicious shoplifter. I like to give Gary and Marilyin 10 out of 10 great customers to me for giving me free Prosecco. Please on behalf me as a happy satisfied customer, I hope you management team can give Gary and Marilyin a reward aswell for excellent customers service and kind to help me for giving free Prosecco. “I ordered a bouquet of flowers from Waitrose to be delivered to friends for a very special wedding anniversary. Unfortunately I put the wrong address! However the Delivery Driver called me and asked me to validate. I would like to thank Rob for his exemplary customer care a skills. He then called me again to let me know that my friends were home and they had been delivered. Without his initiative they would not have been delivered. Huge thanks Rob.”

“I recently had to go into hospital. When my husband was shopping in our local Waitrose Addlestone, a member of staff enquired as to my whereabouts as it was unusual not to see me. When he explained I was in hospital the member of staff offered my husband a bouquet of flowers to give to me on behalf of Waitrose. A really lovely gesture and meant a lot to me. Thank you Waitrose Addlestone for cheering me up and I always enjoy shopping in this particular store.”
