Generally going downhill in quality across the board. Deliveries regularly late coded and even out of date. Meat products seem to be picked as worst-on-shelf. Silly things such as 'buyers choice' attached to 100's of wines for no reason other than to con customers.

Not enough staff on tills at Wolverhampton store and it's not clean. Only go in now for Duchy milk and Jackson's bread.

Since the new refurbishment in the summer of 2019, it is nothing as good shopping as before. They reduced the cheese choice, only to introduce mor alcoholic drinks , wines etc. The oven hasn’t been working properly, the croissants get flat and glutty by the time you bring them home.

Really bad experience with Waitrose Customer Care - really disappointed the company is declining in this way. Was a loyal customer but won’t be anymore! for years. I reported a poor quality product and was treated to the ninth degree investigation over the purchase. Clearly Waitrose clearly believe they cannot possibly sell substandard products and therefore are less than tolerant of anyone daring to complain. How dare I report that the garlic chicken I bought was dreadful - such a ity to see the decline of Waitrose!!

I had my first home delivery yesterday. this being the 11th january 2020. The tomatoes both only had the 12th of the January as their sell by date, Iwould never have chosen these with such a close date to eat them. So I was very disappointed My name is Ruth Witherstone and my card no. is 9210170721578928 I look forward to hear your comments.

Several items missing from online Christmas shopping order and then the lost a whole bag of shopping containing fruit, veg and herbs. A refund for the items was paltry compared to the inconvenience of having to travel to replace the missing items.

Paid £6 for a vegan beet wellington, turned out to be just a whole beetroot in pasty, totally overpriced and tasteless. First bad experience with Waitrose food! Shame on you!!!

I agree with the reviewers below the Waitrose online delivery service which used to reliable with top quality produce has become third rate. Not least of which was their complete inability to deliver to my door the Xmas the whole order I had booked in October. Items not available substituted with stupid alternatives. Very short shelf life but most of the order has gone astray. I hope head will, roll. Never, never using you again. AnD such poor customer service. Shame on you.

I have used virtually every online supermarket delivery service over the years. They are less than perfect. But I have only ever trusted Waitrose with my Christmas delivery. This year I booked my slot in October. It arrived early this morning; the order was missing 2/3rds the driver immediately said ‘you’ll need to phone customer services. The delivery before you was also incorrect.’ I was advised by customer services that there was no possibility of the missing items being delivered. I had to wait an hour to be contacted by a ‘manager’. In the meantime I had to send my husband to brave the traffic queues to our nearest Waitrose store to replace all the missing essentials. Very, very annoyed to receive a call And immediately informed ‘this call is being recorded’. They have utterly failed in my eyes. Being offered a £25.00 online voucher for my next shop by way of non negotiable compensation for the wasted time and stress caused is derisory. I will not be using the voucher or Waitrose online again.

So upset: Waitrose Christmas delivery failed on 20 counts today. They could not take payment for my amendments early last night and said they would get back to me to take the payment. They never did. I spoke to 5 people. None of them were able to help. ‘Sorry for your inconvenience, we cannot do a thing to help’ was the message. As a result we have not received most of our Christmas order. Extremely frustrating to be treated SO BADLY. This is not the Waitrose I remember in days of yore.

Waitrose online is truly rubbish. I placed my Xmas order in early October. It arrives today with chicken breasts substituted for the turkey plus cow dairy products subbed for the ordered dairy free. Instead of a bag of carrots I got a single carrot with a sticker on it. I'm working up to Xmas day I explained. No notification my Xmas items were not available. They attempted to explain their behind the scenes processes which are fascinating I'm sure but they have truly stuffed my Xmas dinner. Searched everywhere today 22/12 for turkey but no. I hope waitrose staff think of me when eating their xmas dinners.

DO  NOT ever have Wairtose delivery. Yesterday I waited for hours for my Christmas delivery only to find out eventually when I logged into my account that it was canceled. I was told by customer service that for data protection reasons they couldn't inform me that they canceled my order. Customer service is the worst I have come across, may only comparable to John Lewis's

Tried a Heston stolen and am in total agreement with Mr Higgins. Bought two of these from the Ramsgate branch - one to be for a gift. Having tried the first one and finding it to be absolutely awful i.e dry, tasteless, lacking fruit or marzipan, we took the second one back for a refund. I feel sorry for anyone who has bought this product to keep 'til Christmas Day. What a disappointment this will be!

Bad costumer service and almost expired items So I have ordered food with Waitrose delivery twice. The first time more than 50% of all the items expired within 1-2 days. I mean, who east all their weekly groceries shoppings within 1-2 days? To me it seemed they sent me all the stuff they needed to get rid off! The second time I had to re-schedule my delivery. So I called in two days before the actual delivery date to re-schedule for on day later. Everything was re-scheduled (This is what I assumed!) but I never received a confirmation Email. So I called in the next day again to confirm that my delivery date was re-scheduled. The member of staff on the phone told me that it was not re-schedule and that my order will be delivered the day I selected in the first place. I told the gentleman that I re-scheduled and that nobody will be at home at that time. His answer was that they cannot undo this and that it was too late to re-schedule now. He promised me a 20% discount off my next order for the inconvenience. I have never ever received that discount!! So however, the driver arrived with the delivery and called me because I wasn't at home. They driver re-scheduled my delivery for the next day. AGAIN I didn't receive an Email to confirm this. So I had to call in AGAIN only to find out that it has NOT been re-scheduled for the next day. So the lady on the phone cancelled my order completely this time and set up a new one with the exact same items to be delivered the next morning. But! She was not able to give me the 20GBP discount that I had on my original order. So I ask her why not, since this mess up was clearly not my fault! She said she could give me a refund. After 5 days I got that refund. (At least!) When my delivery finally arrived, again: I found items that expired within 1 day... I mean, seriously?! Conclusion for me: -disorganised members of staff who only do half of their job -no intention to make up for the mess they have caused at all -almost expired items -5 phone calls, 5 different members of staff and just wasted lifetime to re-schedule an order that wasn't even good. equals: I will never order there again!

Website and system Useless, entered 29 items clicked on delivery and first available day was Saturday the7th (Tuesday the 3rd was placing order). So I click on first available delivery spot to be told 4 of the items we had bought that were on offer would not be on offer on Saturday(but we are buying today Tuesday???), we Begrudgingly pushed to confirm delivery therefore having to spend another £7.00, only to see 4 further items are "not available from your store?". the 4 items were waitrose baked beans (4 pack), Tetley t-bags, whole tinned tomatoes and chopped tin tomatoes. So next stage after wasting an hour of my life was press Delete every item and will never use Waitrose again. Sort out your S..t system.

Thought we’d go for the more expensive Beef bourguignon. So disappointing. No dept of flavour in the sauce (definitely not a jus) or the meat. And the mushrooms very wet. Waitrose is usually very good.
