“My existing thermostat worked after I turned it off and on, but was advised that these thermostats last 7-10 years on average. Ours is 13 years old, so I'm keeping the new one as back-up. I believe this good advice will pay off in the long run.”

“Super easy to install and seems to be very high quality material compared to competitors mats. Only issue is that for warranty coverage it has to be installed by a professional electrician. I do all my own projects and have plenty of electrical experience. Hopefully there will be no need for a warranty claim. Highly recommend this product.”

“Told me they shipped part of my and would E-mail me when the rest of my order would ship . I did not hear anything for over 10 days. So I called and they told me they shipped the entire order. I was waiting to hear when the rest of the order to ship so I could schedule the project”

“My only negative critique is that getting ahold of the electrical testing equipment (resistance/ohmeter testing) was very difficult. Unless you know the right person, you will likely have to rent or purchase them (which is pricey). Even the professional electrician installing a variety of items in my home did not have all the equipment necessary to do the final testing. I had to rent the meter required to send 1,000 volts through the system. The floor works great so far, but that testing is not easily done by a homeowner. Nonetheless, you require it for the warrantee, indicating that you have likely had difficulty with the product in the past.”

Hi John - Thank you for sharing this. When it comes to issues like this, we highly recommend customers call us for assistance. We can walk through certain scenarios and if there is something someone doesn't have access to we can provide recommendations, etc. Most electricians have this equipment and most DIY do not do the electrical work to connect the system this is done by an electrician. “I called in for service as the website didn’t have the size I wanted…. Without the additional part I didn’t need “in a Kit”! The parts arrived in two days for a lower price than smaller mat as advertised online! Calling and dealing with a person made my project goal possible!”
