A very friendly welcome from the check in lady took time to explain the key fob she escorted us to our ground floor room which was huge and clean with a great view overlooking the fields, the bed was so comfy and nicely made up with an added bonus of a large wet room which was spotless,we stayed for two nights which was enjoyable all the staff at the bar-restaurant area we also friendly the food was good and plenty on the style of pub grub which was fine for us,I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

We have just had a 2 day stay at the Hotel. All went well until Sunday morning when we had to order at the bar, & not have the order taken at our table. After a long wait to place our order it had not arrived after 45 minutes and we had to leave without having it. On complaining to the restuarant staff they commented that it was due to `staff shortage` which I find a totally unacceptable excuse for poor service. This was a shame as up until then we had enjoyed our stay & found the staff friendly & helpful in both reception & at the Inn. We will return but rent a lodge & eat elsewhere What a shame to end our stay with such a bad experience.

The accommodation is very good quality, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and generous facilities in the room. Storage excellent Fab views from the room on first floor Good food in the restaurant/bar on site Small children allowed to run free in the bar area with hot food/drinks being carried through No designated disabled parking visible, however other parking is close by

Lovely site with very good facilities and helpful pleasant staff. Lodge was very spacious and had good views - cleanliness could have been better especially the cobwebs in every room, veranda could have been swept, needs a good lick of paint, some of the appliances didnt work properly. Disappointing as we have booked trough Hoseasons a lot of times and usually the standard is better.

Lovely spot with lots to do round and about. The only thing putting me off returning is the long narrow one way lane which I dreaded.

Really liked the setting, pub food was great, generally lodge was lovely, but unfortunately weekend was ruined by swarms of European Hornets we tried to use hot tub but couldn’t as this disturbed them and we got stung which was pretty nasty...and had them in lodge too, staff didn’t seem to acknowledge there was a problem& didn’t seem to be bothered..Reason we booked was because there was a hot tub and we couldn’t use it!! Disappointing weekend 😞

The location is peaceful, tidy and clean. The room was very nice with a big bathroom, but the big window was right next to the path to reception! The window is covered with a screening film so it was private enough, but the view was then obstructed and it was a bit weird.

Review would have been very good but the breakfast let it down. For a room costing £110 per night I would have expected far more choice at breakfast eg fruit juice, fruit, yoghurt etc - not just a cooked option.

Lovely setting. Staff helpful and friendly. Last year had beccles which seemed cleaner and modern. This accommodation lacked some finishing touches ie windows dirty...decor needed touch ups and paintwork knocked on corners. Tv was too high on wall. Did enjoy the stay but these minor things take something away from it. Food good at Inn.

We all very much enjoyed our stay at Haddiscoe Lodge. The Lodge itself is beautifully presented with quality furniture and fittings and everything one needs is provided. The Hot Tub was especially popular under the stars. All the staff we came into contact with were extremely professional and very pleasant and the Inn is a nice addition with good food and a very wide choice of drinks. Our only criticism would be that, as one cannot check in until 4.00 p.m., one actually loses the best part of a not-inexpensive day. Perhaps more staff are needed to turn cleaning around more quickly? It appears somewhat weighted in the house's favor, as it were, as one is told in no uncertain terms that one must vacate by 9.30 a.m.
