Toilets and washing facilities absolutely spot on. Gorgeous site. Pool great although the hot tub could do with a clean as water looks brown. The staff were great.a lady called Sandra really went above and beyond to help me one day and should be very valued as a member of your team. The pub was a bit pricey for the quality. Raise the quality and it would be perfect. The boat hire was very good and a real memory Maker for our son. We would come back here.

What a wonderfully relaxing and peaceful break with everything you could need on site. Highly recommended - would love to go again soon!

Accommodation was good, beds comfortable although twin beds not full size ( I think you should state this on your website) Lounge/dining/kitchen area was spacious. Would have been nice to have more crockery and cutlery (and all matching) so we didn’t have to wash up mugs, bowls and spoons from breakfast to use in the evening. Play area needs a makeover and Eddies secret garden was disappointing. Pleasant location but not easy access along single track roads.

Fab place and wonderful location .... yurt was brilliant but dirty bed protectors and other people’s half eaten food under bed slightly tarnished the initial impression. Showers and facilities were clean and pub on site was good.

A great dog friendly place! You can make you break here as busy or as quiet as you wish. Friendly ‘crew’ -staff. Our lodge was in need of a few improvements, but overall happy with our stay.

We loved our stay. The lodge was very clean, so much storage and very spacious. Everyone was very happy with it. The only negative that we had was that the check in time is very late, especially in comparison to the check out time of 09:30 which we found extremely early as you almost loose a full day as we only stayed for 2 nights. We understand this is due to cleaning but just to feed back.

Room nice and big but sad you have to be so mean about not providing shower gel. Never paid so much for a room and have never been anywhere that doesn’t provide it. Shame.

Last minute book as we didn’t like Dunston Hall so left. We did book accommodation with a patio at Waveney on Booking.com, we didn’t get a patio area (which is why we left Dunston as we had booked a room with a patio and was given something entirely different) however, the bed in the Library suite was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The room was also good value for money. The restaurant/Inn was lovely and so was the view. I’m glad we did leave Dunston or we’d never of found this little gem!

All the staff were lovely, the food at Waveney inn, was not the best and really expensive for what it was, we ate there on the first night , we didn't go back for a full meal. It was a bit disappointing that someone had set up camp in the anglers corner, so my husband and son couldn't go fishing there. We hired a cruiser for the day, the weather was lovely, so that was nice.

All staff were friendly and helpful, the escape Pod was perfect - clean and comfy. Facilities were nearby and cleaned regularly and swimming pool was also really close and never too full thanks to simple booking system. Great experience and we will definitely return!!!

Pitch we had was beautiful as it overlooked the river. Lovely family atmosphere and watching people fish, seeing the ducks and swans, moor their boats was wonderful. Staff very friendly and helpful especially the reception staff. When two lots of dog mess were found on our pitch at two different times they cleared it away promptly and with disinfectant. Its a shame some dog owners are irresponsible and spoil a beautiful site which welcomes animals. Pool-dirty, sorry but we came here about four years ago and the changing rooms were cleaner as was the pool. Also there wasn't this band system???? My children had googles and said that under the water there was a lot of tissue, hair and grass floating around on both occasions we went. Toilets were dirty as was the shower area and changing space. Restaurant- shame about queuing and it used to be waitress service and just more pleasant to sit inside with soft furnishings. Also where are the sharing platters?? That was such a lovely touch the last time we came. We ate a number of times at the restaurant as it was meant to be a break for us all but the specials did not change at all and the menu had hardly any healthy options. Its a shame there is only chips or mash offered to go with your meals. What about a veg curry with rice, chilli, jacket potatoes in the evening, chicken fajita? Limited choice for children to. Playground good for the children although tired in places, a bit of TLC is needed. Boat that we hired was fab and the staff were helpful and kind. Ice cream kiosk a lovely touch to Shop very handy, shame you don't offer freshly baked bread daily as many other sites do now or a breakfast menu in the restaurant, even if its coffee and toast or bacon sandwiches using local produce-just a thought.

Came and tried the camping haven’t been for two years ago when we stayed in the lodge. Brilliant experience everything was so clean and well looked after. Facilities great the pool attendant was lovely up until the weekend the young girl was friendly. The attendant was harsh on Saturday sunday threw you out the pool apart from that great and well done to all the cleaning staff for making the site so clean!

Had a fab time. Both Lodges were immaculate inside. But the outsides needed sweeping as we're rather unkempt. Suggest the following changes: Towels changed mid week if staying a week or more. Gates on all family lodges as, were constantly having to watch the children didn't run on to the roads. Screens around all hotubs, as not everybody wants to be seen in them Flower beds desperately need de weeding and tidying up. Also in the Hanniford Lodge my daughter in law cut under her foot badly on the last night as the metal corner edge of the front door mat inside was sticking up. Need to get this screwed down. We have put a plaster on the area where it is raised.

We were very happy with the facilities in general and had a good holiday. However we were rather disappointed with our plot, moorhen 1. Although we had paid the same amount as the other people in the same row as us. Our plot backed onto the bins, the boat club car park (which was used late into the night), was rather muddy, and had no shade. We felt we should have had a discounted rate for this plot as it was inferior to the others in its price bracket. Our sleep and enjoyment were impaired by the plot location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, the staff are friendly, helpful and respond quickly to any matters/problems which arise. The lodge was clean and very well equipped. However, what stops us from ticking the 'very good' box is the dangerously slippery bath, showers and hot tub at the lodges. Advice should be given to visitors to either bring their own shower mat, or have shower mats available. A notice about how slippery the hot tub is could help visitors decide whether it would be safe for them to use.

Fantastic base for us. Staying in the Carlton Apartment - really spacious great views. Staff all really friendly , ate at the pub number of times and every time food arrived in a timely manner and was delicious. We also had a Tesco delivery for all essentials. Used the pool - clean and well managed. We hope to come back. Thank you.
