Lovely spot to stay! Worth a bit of a drive off the beaten track. A real hidden treasure with super friendly staff, a lovely clean pool and well maintained facilities. Would highly recommend!

We had a great time at Waveney. People are really friendly and accommodating during our stay. This place is very conducive for family and children, although we haven’t had a chance to explore more about the place because we use this place when our son competed for the Nationals at Norwich Canoe Club. The facilities are perfect, toilets are immaculately clean like a hotel. We will surely come back next time for a glamping barbecue.

The site was on the whole ok however the pitch Kingfisher 1 that we were pitched on was less than satisfactory. At the time of the booking I did explain my wife was unstable on her legs due to a stroke and as such so she has limited mobility. The pitch was the furthest away from the toilet block and even further from the shower facility. The pitch was so uneven I was having to try and prop the step to make it stable. After a couple if days I found one of the crew cutting the hedges so I asked him for some gravel to try and make the step stable. He brought two small buckets which did the job for the step. When I asked for some more he said he could not get any more The rest of the pitch was very uneaven and you could not walk on it without shoes .... My wife could not walk on it at all unaided This ruined our experience at the site especially for the cost of the pitch... I have attached some photos showing the plastic hexagon pertruding. .. I would appreciate some feedback

We had a lovely weekend in our lodge. The hot tub was perfect and the views as pretty as expected. The hot tub was warm on our arrival. The kitchen has all the supplies you could need. Check in and out was easy. The shop has essentials, and we drove to Tesco for other things which was also easy. Only complaint/improvement would be to have the lodge air conditioned, it was unbearably hot in there. Even with all doors and windows open throughout the day there was no breeze or coolness. We resorted to a cold bath of water to dip in, as the shower also is either hot or hot! The nights were incredibly warm and with only a duvet we had to try to cope with switching between duvet and no covers. Air con would be a definite improvement and complete the experience without fault. Failing that, a supply of fans throughout would be brilliant. Air con is my only improvement!

We had an excellent week out on the river on Andromeda 1 and were very impressed with the boat and the boat centre staff and facilities. Great boat layout for two parents and two teenagers and really appreciated the dual steering positions, especially in incredibly hot weather! Kitchen up front worked too, although oven gloves, tongs and tumblers would have been appreciated in what was otherwise a well equipped kitchen.

Was told on arrival we had to fit caravan, awning and car on our pitch. Our pitch was heron which was a caravan pitch 8.5m x 6.5m. Pitch was only big enough for caravan and awning and we would have to put car in car park and pay £5 per night parking so didn’t bother putting awning up. Even the bigger kingfisher pitches, you would not be able to get caravan, car and awning on! Yet the tent pitches right next to the water we’re huge! Went to toilets early one morning and was welcomed by excrement all over the floor and toilet! Absolutely disgusting!!!! I appreciate its school holidays and the staff cannot be on hand 24/7 but I’m assuming it’s children, where we’re the parents. Have to say I’m afraid we won’t be returning.

Overall the Lodges were well equipped. The cleaning in Fritton could have been more thorough, light fittings and lamps had cobwebs in them. The cooker hood did not work but I have reported that. My son and his wife were in Earsham Lodge which was lovely but they did not use the balcony or hot tub much due to the awful smell from the sewage processing plant above them. It was very unpleasant and can be smelt from the road above. I could say more but don't want to be too negative, we did enjoy the locations and walks. One final point which was very disappointing. You feature on your website that you have a wheelchair for hire which we wanted for our 90 year old mother. Staff were unaware and unsuccessful in locating it.

Enjoyed every minute. Good facilities, friendly and helpful staff, good location, great views. Must be a downside. Oh yes no shelf space in wardrobes!! Hasn't put us off though. Back next year.

Lovely setting on the river Waveney, very clean cabins and great onsite facilities. Love the ferry across the river for great walks. The Waveney inn onsite serve good food at a very reasonable price. Great base for the broads. One small niggle ,would liked to have accessed the cabin / lodge a bit earlier than 4pm and departed a little later than 9.30 am given the cost of hire for 4 nights .

We enjoyed our stay just a pity we could not extend over bank holiday weekend as our circumstances changed. only one thing i would like to say is a bit of a lack of seating around the center. being disabled it was either by the play area or right down by the slipway to sit and admire the views. or hidden in the secret garden. else all was very very good, thank you

The site was pleasant enough and staff lovely. Sadly the beds in the pod were the only downfall due to them being rock hard.

Lovely pleasant stay in the Ship’s Library room - very comfortable bed. Quite an isolated location (can’t walk to a local pub in the evening for example) but excellent for Water Sports. Attentive and caring staff.
