“Excellent, clean facilities. The only one thing that could improve our family’s experience, would be to have some slightly smaller equipment in the play park area for younger children. My 2.5 year old who has some mobility/balance issues unfortunately wasn’t able to really use the equipment. Shower/toilet facilities were excellent as were the cleanliness/presentation of the pods. We had a great time, thank you and we definitely plan to return.”

“We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and clean with the food being of excellent quality and at reasonable cost. Obscure glass in the en-suite would have avoided us having to pull down the blind during the day though. We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to recommend the Waveney Inn to friends.”

“Enjoyed a lovely stay. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The hotel room was amazing with everything you could want. There are toiletries, a fan, hairdryer and even a full size iron and ironing board. The food in the inn was great and it’s nice to have a choice of portion sizes. Would definitely recommend”

“I like the Waveney river centre however to be faced with already paying the full payment for the yurt and then to be face with having to pay £100 on arrival for any damage that may occur during your stay has highly put me off and made me think about weather I would be able to come back again. The reason for this is I’m on minimum wage with a buget but like to have an experience every now again which is why we came to the yurt but I don’t have £100 just sitting in my account ready to be paid like that until we have left and they no there is no damages. I was lucky on this occasion that my mum was with me as I would have had to leave there and then because I would have been unable to pay the £100 I think this needs to be made a lot more clearer when booking and paying for the yurt as I Did not have a clue about the £100 until I was asked for it when booking in. I think Another thing that you need to bare in mind is the yurt only costs £60 a night at this time of year and £100 is a lot of money to just find just liked that I think A more realistic amount for damages should be thought of around the region of £50 max”

“Great cabin with everything you need. Nice location, pub on site that serves nice food that is reasonably priced. Had a lovely relaxing time and enjoyed the hot tub. Would book again.”

“lodge was lovely nice touch cake ,tea coffee etc spotless clean could not fault accommodation went on the ferry with are dog and the young man who operated it could not do enough for us saw him around the park always spoke had time for you such a credit to Waveney river centre , only moan we personally have we got an email Thursday at 01.00 saying about needed to be out of accommodation by 9,30.friday felt like we had to go to me personally felt ohhhhh my holiday is over”

“Lovely place, lovely lodge, we are a family of 5 with 3 children aged 18, 13 and 6 and this place appealed to us all. Would recommend and probably come again ourselves”

“Excellent week in a clean, comfortable, modern Lodge in superb, peaceful location. Minor problems were attended to promptly and willingly. Staff are helpful and friendly. There were only a few small niggles: only one door key provided - not convenient when there are 2 couples there at the same time. It would have been good to have a chair and footstool, as well as 2 x 3people sofas. Bedrooms are small. There is no shaver point. Wifi is free but slow. The indoor pool was closed in the evening. However, these niggles did not detract from the overall enjoyment we had during the week, both in the Centre and outside it. We would be happy to book again.”

“The toilet / shower facilities are starting to look tired. The site does not have the appeal it used to: rubbish in hedges, waste bin area untidy, ground maintenance not up to the very high standard it used to be. Pitch 1 was very uneven, looks plastic matting showing above gravel. We have been coming to WRC for well over 10 years and this is the worst we've seen the site looking. Appreciate its at the end of a long season, but this has never prevented the site looking very appealing. The one positive was the menu at the Inn has improved as has the quality of the food.”

“Lovely site, staff helpful and happy the site is quite remote which is perfect for the quiet to enjoy the boats and wildlife on the river. Food very nice on the sites pub, does get busy though even in October when we were away. We were very lucky with weather a trip to Wroxham is well worth it. Downside needs more lights to get back to touring and camping site from main area very dark and need torch to see footpath.”

“Fabulous lodge which was very clean and came with every you could possibly need. All Members of staff were very polite and helpful. The onsite Inn served fabulous food at a very good price. The portions were generous.”
