We really enjoyed our stay at the Waveney River Centre because we had all we needed close to. The room was a good size and was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast at the Inn was good and then we had the pool and hot tub to enjoy! The setting by the river was beautiful with lots of boats to watch and footpaths to walk. Despite the site being almost full with campers it was still peaceful and relaxing.

Hi we think this campsite is great we returned for our honeymoon (due to having 10month twins) But I think the shop could have a better range of ice creams. I have worked in catering All my life and I personally think a tea room would work well on this site.

Lovely place, beautiful views, pub is nice and food is good, staff lovely and attentive here. We didn’t camp so can’t xommebg on the facilities however they looked lovely and clean from the outside and a lovely park which our 5 year old enjoyed. Penthouse could do with a little spruce up as seemed a little tired and certainly would not be happy if I payed full price however clean and had what we needed. A particular staff member could do with a little reminder that they are in the hospitality sector and that people are there on holiday so surely they need to act polite, pretend that they are happy to be there (even though they may not be) and make an effort to ensure the customers have a wonderful time! Also the wasps are quite a nuisance, I understand that at this time of year they may be troublesome however you couldn’t sit outside as you would get invaded by wasps and with two small children I really didn’t want to risk them getting stung!

Absolutely lovely site however the information was different depending on which staff member you spoke too. For instance we were told on first day that we could swim at 4.45 last session then on day three turned away as this slot reserved for holiday lodge residents. We had paid £500 for two camping pitches so not a cheap week away and information not consistent. Staff were pleasant but didn't always know the details. We booked two double kayaks then told on day that you only have one double !! Didn't spoil holiday in any way just frustrating!

Great family camp site, felt safe for children of all ages and friendly staff. Ideal for the children to fish, and the river was great fun for the canoeing and kayaking. Toilets and showers were ok too. It’s Wheelchair accessible, but not disabled friendly especially the pool. You need to be carried down steps to poolside, and although they do provide disabled toilets and showers at the site you need to be able to use them independently. Anyone needed assistance would definitely struggle.

Would be great if the strict rules they impose were upheld. Dogs were loose and leaving dog poo everywhere, ball games were being played with balls hitting cars and tents and quite a few people seem to think it's ok to be noisy after ten. What's the point of these rules if they aren't enforced. No one on reception at that time of night to complain too and come the morning can't be bothered to raise the issues. Seems that the rules are more of a gesture

Lovely lodge with panoramic views. On-site shop good but limited availability. Being able to place an order from shop prior to arrival would be good. Pool fabulous. Pub caters for all. Returning next year 😊

Great facilities and location. Shame about the rude staff on reception as staff elsewhere were very friendly and helpful. Would have been 5 stars if we didn't feel we were an inconvenience every time we went to enquire/book. Apart from that we had a very enjoyable stay.

Lovely place. This was our 4th visit and as always doesn't disappointing. Catering for everyone can't be easy, but this place does it effortlessly. See you again soon

This is an excellent campsite with beautiful views across the Broads and excellent facilities, including a pub/restaurant and swimming pool, and access to water sports and fishing. The pitches are a little close together but this facilitates getting to know your neighbours! Who tend to be very friendly! We (family of four) have now stayed at the site on three occasions and enjoyed ourselves every time. There are some downsides though: Low level gripes -maintenance and cleaning of showers/toilets is not as good as it could be - some of the soap dispensers were either broken or empty for far too long which is unacceptable really. The quality of customer care is varied across different parts of the site; the bar staff were excellent, the grounds-person who we asked for help was a bit grumpy. But my real (major) gripe is about the plethora of rules, including the introduction of a £100 deposit - potentially payable against breaking a 'no noise after 22:00 rule' - rules which are not policed and enforced. Not good. However, these are issues which can be addressed by the site management. In saying the above, the site is well worth a visit, as, overall, it is very good.

Lovely lodge and hot tub. Site is in a good spot with pub shop and boats for hire. Enjoyed a day on the river in a pilot boat.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Waveney River Centre, so peaceful and tranquil, a great place to relax and unwind. Our lodge accommodation was spacious and had everything we needed. The children enjoyed the pool and play area. A little out of the way from local towns, but still a great place to explore from.
