“The staff were pleasant and very helpful. We thought the whole site was beautiful. Realising this is a conservation area, it would be nice if the banks behind the lodges could be cut back from the lodge.”

“Spent a very happy family weekend,5 adults and 5 grandchildren in 'Burgh Staithe'to celebrate my husbands 70th birthday. Our apartment was very spacious,lovely position next to the river,clean and welcoming on arrival.Nice to have our own little garden and the hot tub was just perfect.We also swam in the Pool,in the Centre. We hired a Bosum River cruiser for half a day and enjoyed the peace of the River Waveney very much. The weekend passed all too quickly, hopefully we will be back.”

“Very beautiful,relaxing the staff are very friendly and helpful We have now stayed twice and have booked for next year Lovely place for everyone,clean the food at the inn was lovely. Thankyou for a lovely holiday.”

“We came to WRC to give our disabled grandson and his parents a short holiday break. It exceeded our expectations and the smiles on his face was a joy to see. His parents also enjoyed the short break in their lodge as much as we did in ours and our grandson was able to come to us for a sleep over. All the staff we dealt with and met were friendly and helpful so well done everyone in the 'Crew'. Our grandson wants to come again which says it all and we are just finalising some dates for next year. Thank you and see you again soon.”

“Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Very clean area and always people tidying or improving the area. So quiet and peaceful. We had a hottub lodge, which they looked at daily and make sure it's all okay. We were supplied with the essential in the lodge. Lovely restaurant/pub on site. And swimming pool/jacuzzi which looked lovely but we never used it. Took my mum there for a surprise 60th week away. She couldn't of enjoyed it anymore. It was also pet friendly, our doggy came too. Would definitely recommend and go back.”

“Lovely site set in a beautiful location. Pool and spa were amazing, we usually had it exclusively to ourselves. The facilities were kept spotless and the staff were really helpful and couldn't do enough to ensure we had a great stay. Sadly the only downside was during the weekend with some unruly kids intent on being a nuisance. Will certainly be coming back later in the year. Thanks to everyone. Rose and Eddie.”

“Very helpful, friendly staff! Lovely spacious room, very clean, lovely big bed. Very very quiet all night perfect night sleep! Perfect location and well kept! Food in evening and breakfast was delicious and service was fast! Not one negative could be said about our stay loved every minute of it, will definitely be back!”

“Fantastic accommodation beautiful setting in Oulton apt. Unfortunately below a group of ladies in and out of jacuzzi completely drunk spent day and night playing load music running round screaming and shouting and at one point went out swimming in river drunk and were spoken to by man on bardge next door. We decided to leave a day early due to not being able to sleep the two nights before it was a shame. The inn was very nice lovely food and great staff. Would definetly return maybe have a lodge next time.”

“Great accommodation absolutely brilliant setting. One problem we were in Oulton apt and had want I think was a group of ladies downstairs on a hen night. They spent most of the drinking playing loud music in jacuzzi and running round screaming at the tops of their voices and at one point went swimming in river completely drunk and were spoken to by the man in the bardge next door. We decided to leave a day early has we didn’t sleep very well the first two nights due to the noise. We would definetly return again though and maybe rent one of your lodges. The inn food good and staff lovely.”
