Nice site toilets very clean and Waveney inn very nice , all staff seemed very welcoming . However kingfisher super pitches are small so by the time you have a awning up their little space they are smaller pitches than the most normal pitches on other sites . A bit noisy whilst we were their as they had workman with heavy machinery this could have been pre advised. The hire of kayaks is also expensive because you have to have them for half a day . I think hourly would be far better.

Booked a girly weekend to get away and relax. The accommodation was lovely and a really nice place. The beds were very bad and consequently we didn't get much sleep. The maintenance man did try to rectify the issue after the first night so I couldn't fault the staff at the centre. The owners have been informed so I hope they will take note for future bookings. I would return in the summer with family and hire boats out and make use of the pool and pub. Pub does a lovely breakfast and had a good menu. Overall would recommend but would advise to check if privately owned and rented before booking.

Excellent facilities for a weekend even when wet. The lodge was clean and comfortable and the hot tub a winner with all. The staff were helpful, especially thanks to the man who came to our rescue when the power went off and the bar staff who sang a happy birthday to my daughter. A tiny bit of constructive criticism would be to have a little more cutlery. 4 of each was not quite enough, especially if dishwasher was on.

Taking into account the charges of an out of season pitch there, we expected higher standards but we found your site disappointing in some ways. 1/ Jacuzzi out of order. 2/ Many lockers in the pool area in disrepair and labeled ‘out of order’ 3/ The hose on the rinsing tap over the elsan drain is split and had obviously been like it for some time thus spraying the user. It is covered in excrement due to users being forced to fully insert it into waste tank to avoid being soaked. Very unpleasant. 4/ Some shower doors in both ladies and gents toilets have broken or unserviceable locks. 5/ Hot drinks machine had no milk for four days thus all coffees incl white and cappuccino only came out black. 6/ Some notices were authored in a condescending manner thus unpleasant to read. 7/ The so-called free WiFi was almost useless forcing either extra payment for a reasonable speed or in our case, use of 4G. Highly misleading! These are the main points that only we had observed. We left early in disappointment.

Beautiful setting, quiet and peaceful. Pod was as expected. Blind for door was broken (could wind down but not up had to do it by hand) Spa in pool wasn't working. Waveney inn, plenty of seating, meals were tasty, although a little over priced by a couple of pounds) Food not served until 6pm (this is understandable but could let visitors know on arrival) Shower block was good, hot and well kept. (Sanitary bins could be placed near the toilet as they were near the door).

Stayed for 5 nights in Leam Lodge over the Easter period. The lodge was a home from home with the added bonus of a hot tub which the whole family enjoyed especially the children. Very peaceful and quiet location with a lovely little play area, swimmimg pool, pub and boats. Only 30 minutes from the beautiful beach at Lowesoft. So ideal location for us and we will definitely be coming back and recommend to friends.

Nice, peaceful location and a convenient base for exploring the local area. Very pleasant staff and good size rooms in the hotel - excellent value. I was worried it might feel a bit like a holiday camp but not at all, even over the Easter period. Lots of families staying but really not an issue. Will probably return again sometime and hire a boat.

Beautiful setting and a lovely clean and tidy site. Showers were great, loo roll could do with topping up more often though. Pool was very clean and child friendly with a good viewing area and coffee machine. The shop was quite poorly stocked and very expensive but all in all a great site with loads to do for the kids. Will be going back for sure.

Whst a lovely place! Such a great place for z family camping trip. The facilities were fantastic, with warm toilets/ shower rooms and z lovely pool. We stayed in a large Coot pitch which was by the marina and we had an ample space.

Outside area and play area are very nice. There are enough toilets and showers but the state of them us very disappointing. You can smell mould, most of the hair dryers are broken, including some hand dryers. Lockers and changing facilities in the pool building are also a hygiene threat, smells damp with mould and dirt everywhere.
