“Really enjoyed our stay My son tho asked a receptionist for some info and found her very rude Lodge was lovely the hales .aye an outside light near the hot tub would of been good but really enjoyed my stay”

“We stayed at the Waveney River Centre the weekend of 25 September booked in for a long weekend. We had to cut the visit short unfortunately due to the biblical weather. That said, we will be back to stay on another occasion as the facilities were clean and good. Social distancing was being followed, with clear signs and markings through out. Having stayed on a few camp sites I must say I liked the fact that you had a coded self contained toilet, shower room opposed to a multi occupancy shower block. Being an early riser I also liked that the showers were being cleaned before people had woken. Unfortunately I did not use the bar, restaurant or shop as the weather caused us to leave earlier than planned. We had also booked a Canadian Canoe which without issue Waveney refunded due to the weather. I look forward to returning and being able to take full opportunity of all the facilities 😊”

“Very pleased with the Fairview lodge we stayed in; the rooms and bathroom were very clean, with fluffy white towels and shower gel, soap etc; the hot tub was a nice bonus and was regularly cleaned, I used it every day!, except Friday morning, very heavy rain!! Would certainly re-book this particular lodge as nicely positioned; staff were attentive and helpful with questions; we felt this holiday was very good value for money, thank you..”

“Great location and views from Leam lodge. friendly, helpful staff, great food delivery service from pub to lodge very easy to book on website. Checkin by phone and cleaning excellent given Covid restrictions/concerns I felt very safe.”

“This was the 3rd year on the trot that we stayed at Waveney River Centre and again everything was perfect. Lodge was beautiful and clean, facilities on site were superb (and also extremely safe given Convid) plus plenty of paces to visit and shops within a short drive from the site. I cannot recommend Waveney enough.”

“We always enjoy our stay at waveney river centre, unfortunately this visit there was a storm and the boat trip we had planned for our children's birthday was cancelled due to bad weather. An hour after cancellation the lovely lady at reception and team had managed to get us out on a bigger boat for the day. Our children went from being disappointed to over the moon happy . We were staying in a yurt during the storm and found them to feel very secure and they were lovely and warm . We went to the waveney Inn for drinks and a meal and found the staff to be doing an excellent job following the governments covid guidelines . Thanks for another great stay”

“area around hotel looked like a scrap.yard no change on menu for over 7 day did not like the idea of having to.walk back to our hotel room in wet swimming costume .not worth the money paid”

“The access to the site with a caravan is very hairy. The Staff are very helpful and the facilities are kept clean. The only real down side for us was the Wi-fi signal is very poor on kingfisher and as the Mobile signal is also poor, to find out about the local area was difficult.”

“Very clean and well managed site, friendly and helpful staff. Toilet and shower facilities are 1st class and always clean. The location is superb and ideal for exploring the broads and Norfolk, be by boat, on foot or by car. Will be booking this site again soon.”

“Efficient, knowledgeable and friendly staff welcomed us on arrival. Boat safety and handling instruction delivered in a clear and concise manner. The centre has implemented processes to minimise COVID_19 risk in a difficult enviroment and have, in my opinion done an outstanding job. Hats off to the management and especially to the staff on the ground working diligently under difficult circumstances. Great experience, great holiday!”

“A great base to explore Norfolk. We booked into reedham lodge for four nights in september 2020. The lodge itself was quite clean however some updates are needed. Lots of screws missing in door handles and hooks on backs of doors that were broken and breaking the wall behind. The cooking equipment, oven and hob are very good as is the kettle. However the cooking utensils are lacking for a cabin that caters for six people. Broken, or missing fridge and freezer drawers also. Tiny frying pan and knives that are very blunt and old. Cutlery and crockery is also very poor quality and just enough items for one meal. Very comfortable lodge though and great hot water and heating from modern combi boiler. The hot tub was fantastic and we used it every day. We would return as is a lovely place to stay with a great view over the broads and excellent location for exploring. Just needs a member of management to stay in the lodge to see what is amiss first hand.”

“We enjoyed a lovely stay at the Waveney river centre. The lodge was really nice and very well cleaned, the hot tub was lovely. We used the take away service on the first night which was really handy, the following night we ate in the restaurant but was a little disappointed with the menu so made our own arrangements on the following nights. The swimming pool was lovely and really good fun for the children it was just a shame that slots were limited to half an hour however understandable due to the covid restrictions. Most of the staff we cam across were very helpful the only time we experienced any problem with staff was when visiting the swimming pool. All in all a lovely holiday in a great location to get to the coast. We would return in the future.”

“A wonderful few days spent next to the river in our van. We ate at the Restaurant and the food was very good and friendly service and all felt very safe. The facilities were clean and plentiful. We hired a day boat and had a fantastic day out and would highly recommend all round. A very pleasant stay and all went by too quickly”

“Our room, Captain's Cabin was lovely and comfortable. A couple of maintenance issues were reported and these were both dealt with quickly and efficiently. The Covid-19 precautions were extremely well handled and we felt safe. We ate at the Waveney Inn for two breakfasts and two dinners and all meals were enjoyed, good pub food on the evening menu.”

“WRC never fails... The site is bootiful and a credit to the ground workers/cleaners. They are also chatty, friendly and approachable. I would like to say a special thank you to the lady on reception (blonde hair and glasses) for exceptional customer service. Our stay was fabulous as always, and we can't wait to join you again in 2021. Thank you so much x”
