“We are a family of 6, aged 8 to 12. We stayed at Aldeby Lodge which was a good size and the trees provided the perfect shade from the very hot sun. It was central between the pool, play area and green where our 4 children played football. Perfect venue for a family, we’ll definitely be back and will bring family and friends next time. We’d definitely recommend it”

“WRC is a good camping site, spoilt somewhat during my visit by its own success: it had too many people for the land area! We were too "cheek by jowl", and while there is a 10pm "lights out" this is not wholly adhered too or enforced, and the site attracts people with little experience of camping so little idea of how their noise/voice carries. That said it is clean, well maintained, excellent facilities, excellent position, pleasant staff.”

“We thought the site was nicely enough set out. Garden areas need a bit sorted out... if you're going to have potted plants... keep them alive or chuck them out. The Jacuzzi in the pool is so scaldingly hot it's uncomfortable. I'd get that checked out. We were given a time to be out of the pool... We were the only 2 in... not really necessary is it. The bar area needs a good bit of work. The tall outdoor seats are wobbly and dangerous to sit on. Broken glass balistrade area is unsightly. Food is basic pub grub and on Sunday we were told the chips were running out at 5pm. Staff seemed over a bit busy and not chatty to holiday makers. I think the £100 deposit is over the top for a camping site but maybe we aren't your normal clientele. The shop staff on Sunday were rude when asked if any bread... the answer ... I don't know??? Not much use. A mixed stay made better by good weather.”

“A lovely clean park with lots of things to keep all the family occupied - fishing a big favourite with the kids. Staff friendly and helpful. Would love to come back.”

“We had a fantastic stay. We hired the pods and were ideal with young children who got plenty of freedom on the grass and the park. Defo remember bedding. Well worth checking out the pub for food and drink!”

“All good apart from the shower rooms which were too hot, appeared to not even be an extractor fan. Also, management of swimming pool waiting needs attention. My sons were told busy at 10.10 yesterday and to come back at 11am. When they returned at 10.50 told too busy and lots of people waiting!”

“Had a good stay, food excellent in the pub, facilities always clean although a little dated. A little disappointed that campers can only use the pool till 5pm whereas the pods and chalets could use the pool until later. We hired a pilot boat for the day, it was quite old and very difficult to steer. Two other families on site also hired and ended up coming home early as they struggled so much with the steering also.”

“We had booked our meal for 8 p.m. and got it at 9.20.p.m.on Friday night. There was no hot water on Saturday night and the Inn staff did get someone to look at it but it was not really acceptable next morning, did not stay up on Saturday to see if the immersion had worked. The extractor fan in the room was covered in thick dust.”

“A lovely clean lodge which was well equipped. Staff friendly. Pool clean. Boat trip is worth a try. Children enjoyed their stay. Food on site was lovely although a bit pricey. Only negative is that there is only one place to eat unless you drive to different places. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay and would stay here again.”

“Loved our family visit. quiet layed back break with easy days out and day hire boat on the broads (on site) kids enjoyed the swimming pool and playground. We had a brand new lodge some small teething problems (to be expected) all sorted quickly by the amazing helpful friendly staff, hubby loved hot tub I was more excited by a washing machine (no huge pile of laundry when I got home) thanks guys hope to come back.”

“We left 2 days earlier than expected.. we don’t have pets and was put in accommodation which had so much dog hairs.. we had to clean, hoover and mop ourselves to feel a bit more at ease.. and all we could smell with the hoover and was wet dog..also the ensuite shower keep filling up and over flowing and smelling of sewag.. for £1300 odd pound this wasnt worth the money at all..to be honest this has put us off with using again.”

“Was a really lovely place. Very peaceful and we had a relaxing time. Food in the Waveney inn was very good and all the staff across the site were friendly and helpful. Although we had a great time I am afraid we will not return due to the access road being so poor I have a scratch the full length of my car due to the narrowness of the road and a large bush sticking out.”

“The Farmhouse was very comfortable with a lovely garden backing onto stables, the children enjoyed seeing the horses. Sun shades and a BBQ in the garden would have been a useful addition. Staff were all very helpful and friendly, all facilities clean and well looked after. Had a very enjoyable morning out on the Bosun.”
