“Just spent a great weekend at Waveney River Centre in one of the Escape Pods, my 4 year old grandaughter especially loved the play park and swimming pool, the Waveney Inn had a scrumtious menu with plenty of choice ..see you next year”

“I have been to Waveney river centre twice now and have enjoyed both stays. It’s very peaceful and a tranquil setting. The amenities are good and the Waveney inn serves good reasonably priced food. Would definitely come back to stay again and recommend to anyone.”

“We have been twice now to the Waveney River Centre and, each time, we have had a week of glorious sunshine. I think the sun always shines on the Waveney! The facilities are excellent and it is great having the little ferry to get across the river to explore the marshes on the other side. Staff have always been helpful and friendly. Cannot really fault anything. I would certainly recommend the Waveney River Centre to any of my friends or family.”

“Great accommodation, very spacious and catered to all our needs. The added luxury of a hot tub was brilliant. Some kitchen utensils missing that would have helped. Location on the river was fantastic to enjoy the use of our paddle board and kayak. We also spent a day touring on the river with a hire boat which was fantastic. Wildlife and fishing are superb. Very peaceful and relaxing!”

“We stayed for 3 nights at the end of June. We were in our motorhome and our pitch was in the Kingfisher area on a raised level It was a well spaced pitch with hedging for privacy between the vans. The facilities were excellent with large shower rooms and hot water. We hired a small boat for the day and the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. We didn’t use the pool but it looked great for the kids. The one slight negative was the small onsite shop was very limited for supplies. The Waveney River Centre is very isolated with narrow access roads so nipping out for supplies was not really an option. A better stocked shop with a few newspapers would have made all the difference. All in all though it was an excellent site we will definitely visit again.”

“We have just spent a memorable weekend with the family at the Waveney River Centre. Our family stayed in a Lodge with a spa pool, and we stayed in the Starboard Room at the hotel. The lodge was spotless, modern, and comfortable, and had everything you would need for a stress free stay. Our hotel room had the biggest bed I have seen, with lovely views over fields to the river. The staff were helpful, and very friendly. We will definitely be back. Can highly recommend.”

“Excellent place to stay for all ages. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Lovely lodge ( Barn owl) which was clean with a good outlook. The food from the waveney inn was also very good. Would book again.”

“Lovely place to camp The only I would comment on is the Inn on the Friday night Preferred drinks outside and when I asked if we could order food was told they were too busy but we could order on the app and it would be delivered to the van ? We did this whilst finishing our drinks and by the time we had walked to the Motorhome our food was there , which didn’t make sense as the van was further away then the terrace of the inn ??? So why not serve outside ???!”

“Food excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our boat trip. Hotel Room would benefit from air con as it was rather hot. Would definitely come back.”
