Lovely cabin, hot tub and site. Initial issue with hot tub which maintenance resolved very quickly and pleasantly. On the whole staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely walking in adjacent nature reserve. River good for canoeing and kayaking.

The staff at the reception desk were very helpful. What ever the problem they tried to help. Thank you. We also loved going to the pool.

We stayed in Oulton penthouse. It was a very spacious two bedroom accommodation with beautiful views, from each room. The main bedroom alone was like a hotel room, with a spacious shower room. It was nice to wake up to the sound of bird song, which made a welcome change from the background hum of the motorway at home. The welcome pack was a nice touch as were the board games and DVDs. There was plenty of kitchen utensils, cutlery and crockery. The Waveney Inn served good food with generous helpings, even if you ordered a small plate. The service was quick and the staff were friendly.

Crew mostly v.helpful and friendly, lovely well equipped lodge, comfortable beds, welcome pack nice touch. Need better maps for walks and simple wooden sign post once over foot ferry would be helpful. Hooks on back of doors please. 2 women in reception tues morning (5 June) unfriendly and could do with customer care training. Why not stock your shop with more local artisan products eg Norfolk gin? Good value holiday-many thanks

Everything was as described, nice and clean. Wasn't too keen on the stairs but that is probably just my age! WI-FI was also pretty dreadful but as it was only for a few days it didn't bother me too much.

A lovely few days break despite bad weather although very sunny on our family meet up day. The site was ideal and very well maintained. Constant stream of cleaners and maintenance men/ladies. Very impressive. A good all round site for families.

The centre is in a lovely setting and the facilities are good. The park was well kept with nice touches such as the bird feeders. The pub served an enjoyable meal and we also had a takeaway which was quickly prepared and good. Lodge was very clean (apart from toilet brush) and well equipped. Negatives were the closeness of lodges to each other - had to keep bedroom curtains drawn. The spacious lounge/kitchen area left the bedrooms and en-suite cramped and the mattress could do with an upgrade as you could feel the springs. Table on patio was far too small for six - it would not have been possible to eat outside. Numbers or at least names on the front of lodges would have made finding them more easy!

Very friendly staff. Only had 3 chair on the veranda on arrival and there were 4 of us. Called reception and they delivered a chair within half hr. Lovely lodge and hottub was fab. Noisy pheasant woke us up at 5.30am every morning but thats nature for you 😊

Lodge was lovely, couldn’t fault it all, however felt there were areas at the centre that have been neglected. Eddies secret garden is a mess, some flower beds badly needed maintenance & Waveney we found lacked character& atmosphere.

Plus: Dog friendly. Minus: Unfortunately the camping area was overgrown & in poor condition. The toilet/showers were not very clean either, site is looking very tired & in need of a revamp

We stayed in Bluebell lodge from Monday to Friday. The lodge was spotlessly clean and well presented. Check in was smooth and quick - the lady on the reception was very friendly and recommended we book ahead if we wanted to eat in The Waveney Inn that evening. The Inn was busy but the staff friendly and although we did have a bit of a wait for our food when it arrived it was very tasty. The lodge setting was excellent for a beautiful view across the valley. It was really quiet and peaceful. The hot tub was an added bonus - we certainly got our money’s worth! The lodges are on the other side of the site away from the camping area which I understand was slightly more noisy - however we never heard anything apart from the occasional owl! The kitchen was well-equipped with a handy pack of cloths, liquid and milk left out for us. The shop at reception has essential items but we didn’t need much as we’d brought along our own groceries - I noticed some people did have online shopping delivered right to their lodge so that’s always an option. The only suggestion I’d make is that there were some coat/towel hooks inside the lodge - some by the hot tub but we could have done with some to hang coats up and robes up in bedroom. We hired some kayaks for the day. Again the staff we friendly and helpful. The views along the river were beautiful. We got some great photos that day! I’d recommend taking some insect repellant as on an evening walk they were rife! We also planned a day at Thrigby Hall, Norwich for the castle, a puzzle room at The Guildhall and dinner at Cosmos. Take a trip up to Horsey too - it’s worth it for the seals. A super short break - just what the doctor ordered!
