Lovely family holiday with plenty to do locally to keep us entertained.

Lovely campsite. Everything you need. Stayed in a pod and surprisingly comfy, soundproof and cozy. All staff were very friendly and helpful, showers and toilets clean. Park kept tidy. No negatives. First camping / glamping experience and we’ll defo be back. Thanks

Beautiful setting, tidy site with trees for shade, colourful flower planters, well marked out pitches, great for going on the Waveney, very good shower block, useful on-site pub (although limited vegetarian options).

Enjoyed a lovely week at the fairview lodge! Fantastic lodge but the fencing and decking could do with a revamp, dogs escaped through a missing panel behind hot tub but luckily no harm came to them. Great place to visit and now looking to book again for next year! Thanks Waveney River!😃

From the pictures shown on the website it is misleading as it looks as if you have a big marina to look around, when in fact the main part is sectioned off as private. The showers/toilet block very clean and spacious. Did not seem enough space for children to play, the only green area other than the park, is on a slight incline, and when we stayed there were load of wasps coming out of the ground, I assume a nest is underneath it. Also very close to other tents, and Yurts seemed close as they found it hard to park with the tents so close.

Good yurts and nice location..access roads very bad and this is not mentioned anywhere.Showers at swimming pool closed so main shower block always busy and dirty…please open pool changing rooms or provide extra cleaning.

Good accommodation, well kept room. A little disappointed the hotel does not make sure there is availability in the restaurant for each resident or contact to inform before arrival.

Had an enjoyable stay despite the weather. Children disappointed one of the swimming sessions was cancelled but the positive is that safety came first. Look forward to the next time

Once again we had a really nice break at the Waveney River Centre. The toilets and showers are always nice and clean and the camp site well looked after. My only negative would be to the Wavney Inn. Unfortunately the food is not too a very good standard and nor where the drinks, a real shame as it would have been nice to sit there a bit longer instead of drinking back at the tent.

We enjoyed our stay here. The lodge was clean & the hot-tub was the added bonus for us! We would have liked to have eaten at the restaurant more but limited booking & you couldn't eat outside meant we only ate there once (sunny afternoon thought we would stop after our walk & sit outside for a drink & some lunch, loads of tables but couldn't eat outside?) The shop also sold minimal things. If you want walks then we did find a little 3 mile route but the other walk they offer you have to get a ferry across the marshland (i don't like water or boats so that was a no go) All in all was a lovely weekend break if you don't want much to do!

We had a great time on our holiday. Our yurt was clean and cosy even with a lot of rain. My boys really enjoyed using the swimming pool and the canoeing was a great experience. It was a shame that the inn no longer does take aways. We would have used this as there is no where to cook in a yurt when it pours with rain! We did eat at the Inn one night. The staff were friendly and doing their best but seemed short staffed and the food was ok but not great.

A lovely place to stay, would definitely stay again. Has so much potential for improvement for example swimming pool/games room. felt the shop was a let down!

Rooms comfortable and clean and good facilities. Unfortunately can hear noise from other rooms such as water being run, toilets being flushed and loud noise which happens randomly. Disappointed at no healthy breakfast options and you don’t advertise vegetarian options. Also disappointed at pub area which is not comfortable for sitting in of an evening. We ended up just sitting in our room. Staff really helpful and attentive. Pool area needs to open earlier to accommodate a swim before breakfast as to much of a rush to get ready before breakfast deadline. Hard to get through on the phone to staff/restaurant.

Lovely time. Friendly welcome, great pitch, very clean & tidy throughout the park. Staff had time to say hello & chat. We were lucky with the weather so plenty of time spent on the water. Definitely be back… Thanks WRC

Disappointed Was told when booking couldn’t have 2 pitches together on arrival it was obvious this could have been arranged as either side of us were singular families who arrived after us Only managed to book 1 meal in restaurant No boats available to hire Shop under stocked and closes at 6 ! Why clean toilets at 8am ? This is when most people are getting up and needing them Staff disorganised Won’t be returning

We really enjoyed our stay at the Waveney River Centre. The site facilities were good considering the current Covid restrictions. The children’s play area was excellent and my children really enjoyed this. As booking was required for the pool 24 hours in advance this made sure that usage was fair. We would have liked a guide to the facilities, perhaps a FAQ guide e.g number to call to book the pool, how to arrange for additional towels etc.
