“fantastic camping holiday....beautiful place...liam,sandra(cleaner) & andrew are great ....really helpful...showers fab...pool fab...view stunning...only downside is waveney inn pub...small menu & a few cleaning issues but deffo booking for next year...spent last night in a yurt which are so cosy & well worth the money...all in all a great place to go”

“Had a very enjoyable and relaxing week. Location was great, the yurt was comfortable and the facilities were really clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. Only improvement I would suggest was the menu at the Waveney Inn was very expensive for the basic menu provided. We will definitely be visiting again.”

“Restaurant and bar prices. Far to expensive. Food not good. My second stay at the centre. All tv reception is extremely poor. You need a much taller mast. Staff were very nice polite. You really do need more cleaners. Then you wouldn’t waste nearly all your first day of holiday having to wait until five o’clock, in most cases to get your key. I think a big meeting of staff and owners is badly need. It’s a lovely place. Don’t spoil it for the sake of a meeting. Regards. Mrs Jennifer Russell.”

“The lodge was clean, spacious and well furnished but needs updating. Mattresses a bit hard for us. Staff were pleasant but dissappointed with the food at the Waveney Inn! Beautiful location, peaceful and relaxing.”

“Lovely sized private pitch. Great having water on tap. Nice view. Showers and toilets very good. Lovely countryside location. Slightly disappointed with the cafe/pub. Food basic and interior a bit lacking in atmosphere, but the service was really friendly and the waitresses were fab. Hired a small boat for a day £175.00. Definitely would not recommend this! Noisy, and uncomfortable.”

“I had not been to the centre before and I was quite surprised on my arrival at its size and amenities. The reception I received from the staff was very good and we had a good laugh.(which is always relaxing and a bonus). The engine room was up to a good standard and very clean. I think that one negative would be the motor noise from outside when the window is open but i am afraid that there is not a lot you can do about that. The food and staff were very good in the restaurant and there wasn't anything too much trouble for them. The breakfast was sooooooooo good. Filled me up for the long ride home. Thankyou one and all. I WILL BE BACK. DAVID GODSON”

“The centre is in a very nice location and kept very clean and tidy. The showers were kept immaculate which is important to all campers. The actual campsite needs a little bit more "finishing off" especially around the lodges where the roads were not tarmacked and looked a little unkempt which let it down. There is no privacy between the camping pitches though they are well defined. There was a group of 3 pitches opposite us during our stay that setup tents only feet apart which is dangerous and also against camping rules, this creates a fire hazard but they were not asked to space the tents accordingly which was a surprise. The onsite pub restaurant is really nice but we attempted to use the App to order food but this did not work, we emailed them through the App but the site did not respond during our stay. It wouldn't take much to turn this site into a 5 STAR site other than a bit of attention to detail.”

“The road leading down to the River Center is not fit to tow a caravan down, I drove down at 15 mph with the caravan with grass and other objects brushing along side the narrow road. This was several miles and had supposed passing places. The pitch I had wasn't big enough, the hedges surrounding it were overgrown and unkept, they were brushing up against the caravan on one side and the awning on the other. therefore there was nowhere to sit out . My vehicle had to be parked in front of the van so blocking my view. We were parked on the end next to the building with toilets showers etc and waste emptying point was around 30 feet from the van. this was a very unpleasant area the actual waste emptying point was virtually on ground level so you had to bend down to empty your loo, instead of it having a nice deep funnel bowl it was virtually flat so . which obviously made it messy as some people seem to be spilling over the sides so you were stood in other peoples waste. i spoke witgh a few of the other caravan people who also said this would be their first and last visit but dont let me be the judge and put you off. Please go and see for yourselves.”

“Campsite is in a wonderful location but... The pitch for the tent was very rough and worn and had some quite sharp stones, and this was fairly early in the season. One visiting dog was not on a lead and yapped a lot one day and the worst thing is that the 10pm no noise rule was not taken any notice of and not enforced. was very noisy until midnight Good for young families, maybe. No good for relaxing quiet holiday.”
