A lovely site, clean and everything you need. Well laid out and quiet in the evening. Nice bar, brilliant food and excellent walks around.

Stayed in a pod. Very comfortable and more importantly warm as it was fairly chilly out. Staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Good stay perfect for large groups we stayed in the Burgh Straith. Could of been a little cleaner but otherwise perfect. Swimming pool was great although the spa pool wasn’t working. Great facilities service was friendly and resolved problems quickly. Would stay again

Always a brilliant break when we go to the Waveney! My daughter loves it and I even took my sister on this one. She loves it too. We plan to return consistently to our favourite lodges.

What a lovely, friendly and picturesque campsite. We have had a great week. Children loved the play park and the pool. We hired a boat, became stranded and we were rescued promptly. Heated toilets were a godsend. As was the pub when it became too cold. Dog friendly and very welcoming. Food was great too. Laundry room essential. We walked, we explored and we used the ferry to cross the river, it was just beautiful. The pitch sites were very generous, we had a coot one with loads of room. Overall a great family holiday with lots of memories made. Thank you.

We had a lovely time, everywhere was very clean and staff were friendly. Little of a shame that the jacuzzi wasn’t open and not much entertainment. Overall, a very relaxing trip! I would recommend to stay in a yurt.

Relaxing, picturesque, family friendly. We liked the hard standing for this time of year, less doggie muddy footprints, the men liked the super pitches, kids loved the park and pool. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Well kept site with nice shop, fabulous showers good food in the restaurant, we liked the separate poolroom for the kids. Great day hiring the boat, we would definitely come again and perhaps have a go at canoeing in warmer months. Thank you for a lovely holiday!

Our second stay at Waveney, first in the Hannaford, and recently in Bungay. Both very different but clean and tidy and comfortable. Nice and quiet and always relaxing. Only disappointment was on the Thursday night we couldn’t have an early meal and were refused dinner at 17:00, and told to come back for 18:00. Maybe there’s a valid reason? Was just a shame as quite a few family’s were turned away who with small children 17:00 is a nice time to eat. However, another lovely week, and see you again soon. Kindest,

We stayed in Waterside and can not recommend this lodge and park enough. It is beautifully appointed and has everything we needed, including a hairdryer, TV in the bedroom and lounge, freezer, oven, microwave, two walk in wardrobes, a thermostat for when it’s chilly and of course, the gorgeous hot tub. It’s a bit tricky to find the park but once we did it was fine. Staff were excellent and dealt with a couple of minor problems we had immediately. All in all, a wonderful mini Easter break after a particularly stressful year and we will definitely be returning and recommending to family and friends. Thank you so much.

Lodge not very clean. Musty smell in one of the twin bedrooms. Only one bedside lamp working because the lead was not long enough to reach the plug socket. The en-suite toilet would keep flushing unless the lid was lifted every time. The hot tub only bubbled twice over the four nights. The swimming pool was poorly maintained as half of the lockers were out of order, only one family changing area, the jacuzzi was not working and to cap it all, the bench seat in the male changing room collapsed whilst our youngest boy was sitting on it! On a positive note, the site was family friendly and quiet. Lots of local wildlife and the pub served reasonable food.

Facilities were very clean. Our Yurt was cosy, however there were cobwebs in the drawers and the underneath of the beds were not clean. The mini wildlife area was very shabby. There was no information regarding the pool bar opening times. Would be nice if dogs were not allowed to be left in caravans all day barking!

Lovely place to stay. The yurts were really comfy and cosy. The facilities were so clean. The only thing that I was disappointed with was the mini wildlife area, it looked really shabby. Would be interesting to know if the pool bar ever opens?

Disappointed on arrival as accomodation was very late in availability, the bottle of wine was hardly compensation. Ever thought of a staggered access time? Checked out evening before as 9.30 am departure too demanding with young children to get ready Lodge "HALES" was exceptional although hot tube did not seem to be serviced during our stay Are the visitor reviews ever read? It seemed that a high percentage referenced there not being an electric kettle. It was painful boiling water using the leaky kettle provided, fifteen minutes plus to boil on the gas hob! Shower water temperature variable, I think due to poor water feed balance.......? However, overall an acceptable experience.

Fantastic views, friendly staff and a snug lodge with its own hot tub what more could you want. We had a relaxing break escaping from life’s pressures in this ideal little place.

Lovely spacious lodge in quiet beautiful surroundings. Comfy beds and lots of fluffy towels. Downsides were no hooks on doors for dressing gowns, there needs to be an electric kettle, the knives need sharpening and more toddler play equipment in the play area would be a bonu but other than that the hot tub was lovely and the luggage itself was warm, cosy and clean. The church down the road is a beautiful hidden gem, absolutely fascinating. Also a must do is tbe full day boat trip from the centre, a great way ro explore (the ship at reedham was a nice stop off and oulton broad was a good stop fire kids with a huge play ground for all ages). BeWILDERwood is absolutely enchanting and amazing for both children and adults, definitely worth a visit. Overall a fantastic stay, great location to explore our first time in Suffolk and Norfolk.

Not the best pitch area. The large hexagon plastic ground cover is exposed in many areas of the site this was very difficult for children to walk on and I had to carry my dog in and out of the awning and he is not small.Although not busy I would feel it rather crowded if it was. Pool good, showers need attention but kept clean.

Easy access from the river via kayak. Easy to book. Nice friendly welcome. Ultra clean showers and pool changing facilities. Pub on site first class food and service. Really nice helpful staff. Nothing not to like at all.
