“Hey Chief, I quite liked the jerky all flavours, the collagen bars were a bit dry and bland. I was not a fan at all of the meat bars. I did not finish either of them. found them quite a fatty taste and the mouthfeel a bit too rich.”

So sorry about that Peter and thanks for letting us know! Because we don't use nasty preservatives we need the bag to have a perfect seal otherwise any oxygen will allow mould to grow (it's the same mould as cheese so it's harmless but gross!). We'll be in touch to send you some free replacements!

“As a fat-adapted, Adventure Racing competitor, finding portable and clean foods to consume during endurance events (6-36+ hrs continuous) can be a challenge, especially when fuelling during a bike or paddle race leg. I was excited to try the Beef Bars to see if they were fit for purpose... They did not disappoint! I absolutely LOVE the Traditional Beef Bars - they are so delicious and the texture is perfect for eating while on the move. These little beauties have become a staple for my race nutrition along with the Collagen Bars. Thanks, Chief for making such a high-quality product void of nasty fillers and additives to help me fuel during races :)”
