“Yiannis picked me up and took me back to the air port whilst visiting Crete. Was the best service I have experienced. Fast and reliable communication over email and when my flight was delayed Yiannis was great and waited for me as he checked the flight. He had a great knowledge of the island and history and told me really fascinating things in the hour journey to my hotel. The car was clean and comfortable and I was made at ease after travelling. Great experience and I will be using again and recommending. Thankyou”

“I used welcome pickups for my travel to Madrid both from & to the airport. The service was excellent and both drivers were extremely kind, helpful and gave us lots of useful tips. The price was fair and I will definitely use this service in my future travels. Highly recommended!!”

“We booked a welcome pickup for a recent trip to Amsterdam. I received an email as promised 4 days before showing us our driver. This was great as we were five women travelling. On arriving in Amsterdam we followed the instructions given of where to meet our driver. After 10 minutes waiting I rang the number I had been given and got no reply. A couple of minutes later I received a phone call and really struggled to understand what was being said. We managed to hear that he was ill and had sent a different driver. 10 minutes later another phone call from the new driver saying there had been an accident and he was going to be bit longer. Finally now over half an hour late and stood in the wind and rain our new driver arrived and we were on our way. Our driver did not know the address we were going to and had to give this info again. The whole idea of this service is you know who is driving you and everything is set up before hand and supposed to make it stress free. If the excuses were true then fair enough but feel we shouldn’t have to chase the information we should have been contacted as soon as we landed .”

“When we arrived at Ciampino airport we were meet with a text to tell us that our driver was not going to come and that we had to find our own way to the hotel which was over an hour by taxi. On the return trip I tried for 3 days to contact Welcome Pickups by phone and text so that they could confirm that there would be someone to take us to the airport in time to be sure of catching our plane. As I was unable to get a response from Welcome Pickups I had to make other arrangements to be sure of catching my flight. While I was at the airport preparing to board my plane I got a message from Welcome Pickups to tell me that a driver was at the hotel to take me to the airport, Welcome Pickups then had the cheek to charge me for taking me to the airport. Welcome Pickups are very dis-organised sending lots of emails contradicting each other and not listening or understanding the customer. Use this company at your peril. Peyter Cochrane”

“The driver didn't turn up and the trip was cancelled 12 min before and was a hour drive to the airport, I needed to order a uber that was €70. And I didn't get my money back from this company! DON'T USE THIS COMPANY I've added photo so you can see I ordered for 7:30 and the driver cancelled at 7:18 and the booking was made 3 days before, what a joke of a company.”

“Very good service from Welcome pickups. I have used them a few times now for business and pleasure. Great communication and information including driver details a few days in advance of the pickup. The driver on this occasion both ways (igor) was very professional, on time, well dressed and polite. His English was very good and we had a good chat. He had very good knowledge of the roads taking various detours to dodge traffic etc and got to my destination about 10 mins quicker than my Google maps initially indicated. Top marks from this and past experiences I would recommend them every time they take all the hassle out of transfers etc.”
