“Involved in a serious racial assault and they didnt even come out to me. 11 days later i got a call back and he was quick to want to close the case. More problems continue i ask them how i can be safe in my home. Basically call them back when they come for me and they might come out. Brilliant”
“Ever since I worked at Birmingham City University, I began to get targeted by the west midlands police which caused me harrasment and the west midlands used to be put on sirens when I walked past etc. I have been probed and victimised by them. Instead of catching criminals or investigating criminals they go around targeting innocent people to cover up their criminal behaviour. I have made several complaints against the west midlands police but they cover everything up such as saying they are not aware of who drives which Police car/van, and the IOPC refer it back to the West Midlands police when I have made a complaint to them.
I have a employment tribunal case against Birmingham City University which is with ACAS/Employment Tribunal for unfair dismissal and Racial discrimination.
I was physically assaulted by a Paramedic and two other guys. I do not know if the Paramedic was under the influence of Alcohol as I could sense a strong sense of alcohol from him
He just leaped out aggressively attacked me. The Paramedic had no mask or gloves on and was not social distancing. I was not expecting him to get out the van, let alone attack me. He first pushed me into the Ambulance van, I hit my head and back in the driver area of the van, I got back up and he grabbed my left arm and my wrist. I was in absolute shock. He began to twist it around and was pushing me around again. This time he pushed me on to the side of the Ambulance van and pushed me onto the side of the van again as I was just in shock. My head, my back and my elbows hit the side of the outside of the van more than once. And then another Asian male came and grabbed my right hand and wrist, they pushed me down to the ground with brute force. I hit my head on to the concreate, before I hit my head, I saw lots of people around recording with their phones. I am sure they were attempting to break my hands/arms. I now have this clicking noise coming from my arm when I try to move it around.
There was this third male who jumped on me, he was applying pressure to my knees and jumping up and down on me. He was also twisting and pulling my left leg with force. From what I remember he mentioned drugs. I do not know any of the three individuals and it was first the time I have ever seen them. All I could remember saying is that "I can't breathe, I can't breathe, I can't breathe." and that "I am going to pass out." I think because I was in shock which kept me awake. I was about to pass out but did not. Both my legs are in pain still but my left leg is hurting more.
The West Midlands Police took forever to come and I thought they were not going to turn up. As soon as they turned up a police officer put hand cuffs on me straight away and said you are under arrest for assault. Before the police arrived the three males were all looking at each other smiling and laughing.
I was first arrested for assault, taken away from the scene and then later de arrested for assault after I told the police officers about how they attacked me. I did not attack anyone. They first said I attacked the paramedic when that was not true. I kept on telling her and other Police Officers I was assaulted but they did nothing about it. As a Muslim, I was under the observation of Ramadan and had nothing to eat or drink that day. I also did not sleep was very weak
I feel I was wrongfully arrested and that the Police did not check on my health and wellbeing before arresting me. I was on the ground and just arrested straight away.
During my time at the Police custody suite in Perry Barr I was held there for hours and hours. Water was provided very late when I requested it. I also don't think Halal food was provided. I honestly feel my basic human rights have been violated. I was detained for such a long time and I am not sure given my health was not 100% I should have been at the Police custody suite. As I had swelling on my neck and a lump at the back of my head. Also cuts and bruises around my body. During the Police interview the Paramedic in his witness statement admitted to assaulting me. I wanted to register my side to the West Midlands Police, however, they did not want to hear anything and I was physically dragged out the Custody Suite by multiple Police officers. Before I was dragged out with unreasonable force, they knew full well I was already attacked and in pain. I requested my phone but the Police said they wanted to keep it which I declined; they still have my phone. The person on the desk also pushed me from behind. That day they were aggressive and I felt humiliated.
I am certain there are CCTV cameras in the Perry Barr Custody suite which can verify and demonstrate in essence what I have written.
I do not want this happening to anyone else. Especially families and Children. I feel targeted because I am an Asian Bangladeshi male and Muslim.”
“My son and I were victims of harassment by the Birmingham police officers and the rest Birmingham departments. The police covered up for those who committed crimes and harmed my son. My son's been ill for nine years and those who ruined his health and his life were never brought to justice for their crimes. The Birmingham police do not care about child welfare issues at all. Those dressed in law suits who call themselves law abiding citizens are the ones who commit crimes themselves and then put blame on the innocent people to cover up their crimes. PC JO CAHIL and PC KEMP and DC WENDY RIGBY should be brought to justice for their crimes. No one is above the law, the laws apply to everyone, so why should these officers walk away free after committing crimes? Quote: study carefully the character of the one you recommend, lest their misconduct bring you shame.”
