“Had towbar and vehicle specific electrics fitted, when I hooked up to my trailer side lights stayed on with key out of ignition, returned it after a couple of hours they said it was done, next time I hooked it up indicators and side lights didn’t work, phoned them and they said it had to go back because it was vehicle specific and had to be reprogrammed, but it’s a 70 mile trip every time I go there, so took it to a local garage who said the wiring was a complete mess and ending up replacing the electrics completely (they gave me the old wiring kit and offered to write a report but I can’t be bothered. So western towing (supposedly specialists) got the wiring wrong twice, local garage got it right and it has been fine ever since, even though it cos me another £250 So be warned they charge over £600 for towbar and single vehicle specific wiring on my Jeep but haven’t got a clue regarding the wiring disgusting service will never use again”
“Went in for a new number plate and to have electrics on vehicle tested while it was being made. Problem with electrics found and rather than me making a return visit they squeezed me in and sorted the problem out within half an hour.
Excellent advice and service from all staff, both counter and fitter.
Would definitely recommend.”
“Had a holiday emergency which needed looking at quickly, electrics on existing tow bar had failed and we were leaving the next day. Western Towbars fitted me in immediately and fixed the problem within minutes with no fuss, would definitely recommend them to anyone! 5🌟”
“Hired a car trailer, which could have done with the jockey wheel being greased/working better... However, brought back with light rim damage to one wheel.. and light dink to mudguard. Accepted to replace rim, thinking they would be reasonable and let me know how much it would be. Nothing... just took £250 out, no text B4 hand , just money out. Still no contact 1 week later. That it not good business..”
