WeTravel has changed the retreat leader experience for yoga teachers. I’m not very tech savvy and know some others who pay a web designer to create pages like WeTravel. The trip pages are beautiful and so are the printable flyers. The team is always available for questions and super easy to work with. Overall, the best part is the ease of use, especially when building a retreat. They utilize a template with fields to fill in then reorder using drag and drop. Did I mention the pages are beautiful?!

I was recommended WeTravel by others in the industry and have been pleased with their offerings. I was looking for auto billing but their auto payment reminders have been just as effective for on time payments. I love that they only charge 1% and they allow me to pass card fees to the clients while also offering a no cost ACH option for them to pay. Their virtual card has been a blessing because there is a delay when using wire transfers to pay vendors. With them launching the physical card, I’m expecting seamless vendor payments in the future.

I went through their verification process and thought that WeTravel simply would not work for me when I only got partially verified. I run a small agency and do not have enough cash flow to pay vendors ahead of time. I asked their verification representative if there was any way to get fully approved and they were willing to provide me with an alternative to add my own Stripe account. I went through the tutorial to connect my account so I can access money immediately when someone pays. A small hiccup, but everything else has been hassle-free.

Customer support is FANTASTIC. They’re always quick with the solution on chat. Slightly slower by email at times. The part they got right is the payment reporting. Everything is consolidated in downloadable Excels and makes my accounting easy. Wire transfers are convenient to pay vendors and reasonably priced ($15). The system as a whole has saved me loads of time so far and it comes at a fair cost.

Our experience has been very good thus far. It has become the main platform that we use daily to accept bookings. Feedback from our clients has been positive as everyone can maintain his account. It has been possible they pay installments on time and review trip details. There are some features that need improvement to be useful for our business. We are unable to change clients to a new trip, requiring reentering booking information for them each time. A tablet friendly format would be very useful after the start of the trip when we are traveling and need to access information.

WeTravel is our partner when it comes to running a travel business.  We specifically like that we can collect money and travel information from parents for educational trips.  It’s a big step up from manually tracking it and has made my life easier.  The only thing I would recommend as a feature would be the ability to accept Paypal payments.

We’re thankful that a platform like WeTravel exists. The platform satisfies my two main requirements for low fees/ free withdrawals and the ability to pay our vendors directly. We found out about their virtual card and that was a bonus since we purchase equipment ahead of the trips. Their reporting has much improved since we signed up but is still lacking some elements. I know they’re always working on updates. They currently satisfy about 90% of our needs.

I organized a Japan trek for my club and needed to collect $3500 from 30 classmates. I considered Paypal until my colleague recommended WeTravel and I probably couldn't have done it without their payment plans. There wasn't much information on verifying SSN, but support walked me through it and I received my payout in 2 days.

I built a trip for my yoga retreat a few years ago and decided not to go through with it. Impressions were that it was easy to set up (images, packages, payment checkout system, and integration with mailchimp). I emailed support for assistance in refunding everyone and they were prompt to respond. Refunding was as smooth as set up and no fees were charged. Looking forward to using it again for a future trip.

Best payment platform I have ever used. I needed a booking solution for my website (multi-day tours), that didn't require a big upfront investment. Lucky I found wetravel, as i didn't need to pay anything upfront, and they just keep 1% per transaction. During covid, this company has also behaved in a great way. I had to refund most of my customers, and they didn't keep any fee from this refund and everything was hassle-free. totally recommend

This company is just a bad partner for tourism industry. They don’t care about associate companies and they could stop you for more than 60 days. I have a very disappointed experience with them and with their card. After 90 days of waiting for a response about a issue with the card, almost no response of my emails and a local associated who block my emails, messages and calls, they just send me a mail with a negative balance that I have to pay in less than 24 hours. I care about my partners but this was a nightmare and I am trying to star a legal process with them, I feel so bad like a client and this kind of companies just don’t be allowed.

I used this service for two trips as an organizer especially because of the installment payment plan. However today I was told that each organizer needs to leave $40000 deposit. I was so disappointed.so I hadto disconnect all my trips and am working hard to find another alternative. Seems i have to go back to active.com. Sigh.

We have been using Wetravel for over 4 months and the staff from Petrenis, Helen, and especially Keri are amazing. The chat feature helps alot when we get stuck and not sure how to navigate the site or features. They also email you quickly if they need clarification on any matters related to your account. We have save time, stress, grey hairs, and the drama of Paypal or First Data. We strongly suggest using Wetravel as an agency or tour operator to manage your groups and resources. TY

What a nightmare! They'll take your money and hold on to it indefinitely. We signed up for a business account with WeTravel. Got a payment to our WeTravel account for a booking from a client for one of our trips. We were then told our account still had to be verified for us to be able to get a payout. So we decided to fund the trip believing that after the verification is done WeTravel would release our money. BIG MISTAKE!!! Its several months now and we haven't gotten even a dime of that money. The account also hasn't been verified till now. We availed all the required documentation for verification bit still nothing. We've sent like a gazillion emails they are all ignored. You can't even reach them by phone! At some point we thought we were emailing the wrong email addresses so we decided to use different emails (unknown to them) to make random inquiries. They responded immediately which indicates all our previous emails raising our concerns were deliberately ignored! How rude and unprofessional. These chaps are CROOKS! Horrible service!

I used WeTravel to organize a few group trips in the past year. Every group trip was 30-40 people. I really like the payment plan feature. I could set up a deposit and monthly installments for my participants. Instead of sending a reminder every month myself, I let the system do that. Not to mention the trip reports and the dashboard that I use almost every day. Definitely a time-saver!

WeTravel has fraudulent tour operators on its website - they do not have any safeguards in place to protect customers and then (unlike most companies) have no ability or willingness to punish or block these tour operators after the fact. I lost more than $3K booking a tour on WeTravel and I highly recommend insisting to any tour operator that they use a different payment portal.

Listen!!!!!! My assistant set me up on this site for my Women’s Getaway. I looked at it and thought it was easy and FAST! WRONG!!!!! They are playing this Verification Game and won’t Verify the Account!!! We are unable to book our Venue because we use our deposits to do so! Not to Brag but you can Google or go to Social Media to Verify my Identity so it’s a Joke!!!! No one responded to me and the stupid site even says BOT when you do get a response! This company should be put out of Business! I could have used my merchant account but I like the payment structure and reply emails that go out! The worst experience of my life! Now I have to refund the People that paid and trust that they will re sign up!!!! Horrible service! Never sign up with a company you can’t get someone on the PHONE EVER! By the Way We travel! I’m Dr. Chanita Foster so stop lying and saying you can’t verify me and you can just go to Instagram!

My daughter was signed up for a trip through this company. We got an unexpected medical diagnosis that requires surgery. I have spent the past month trying to contact this company to get a partial refund per the agreement. They have not responded to any of our requests. It's very unprofessional and I suggest you reconsider using this company for any trips. We are highly unsatisfied with the lack of communication. Zero stars would be left if I could.

Ghana The Experience hands down has been one of the best experiences I’ve ever had outside of birthing my children. The knowledge and understanding of what our ancestors went though made any history books they have in school not worth ever looking at. I encourage any and everyone to put this on their bucket list. It’s truly an eye opener. Thank you WeTravel for your assistance in booking this trip, being on top of payment plans and all.
